Anime Festival Asia was (Love)...
at least for the most part.. I rmb-ed why I enjoyed Cosplay again.. somehow ppl seem to know your name (or rather, your character's name =P ) Haha.. strangely, this all was a result cuz i made a call to Jas/Hel, asking if they were interested in Cosplaying on sun.. what started out as a joke, apparently got momentum.. and before i knew it.. i was already packing the stuff for the cosplay, and planning where to get a new blue shirt =X oh well.. it was well worth it, considering all the nice pictures i got of the day =P
The Gundam Exia~!! haha.. my 1st thought after my fren sent me this pic was.. "Hey.. doesn't this look like how they portray a gundam pilot and his gundam? =O " yea.. i know i know.. i shld differenciate reality from fantasy ya? =P
Hehe.. in case you're wondering.. this is a classmate of mine from those Jp lessons i'm now taking.. whom i just started talking to not long before the AFA event!! =P kawaii ne? sono neko mimi-s ? xD
Haha.. this is actually one of my favourite pictures from the event! Not everyday you see a Cosplayer Cosplaying a Character Cosplaying another Cosplayable character do you? =D okies, if you didn't get what i said, nvm.. Simply put its a Konata cosplaying Haruhi xD Kawaii ne~?!
And this pic was taken on the 1st day, notice the similar armband on our shoulders? lol!! i knew i had to take this picture no matter what cuz of that =P apparently she rmb-ed me.. and we got along quite well after exchanging PM-s on sgcafe =)
So yups! just wanted to dedicate the rest of the space here to a couple of ppl..
- My Jp Classmates, who were so enthu about coming down to see the AFA =P
- David + Alex + Fren, for helping to carry my bag about on the 2nd day xD

Oh boy.. seems alot of things are happening recently..
1st up, Anime Festival Asia, happening this weekend.. seem alot of hype about it.. Well, i guess i'd be going since its not like i have much else to do =P

Next up, is something i just found out when Fun called me.. Its a Cosplay Challenge, which involves a series of Workshops, and even prizes for the best cosplays.. well, don't need to think so far ya? but the workshops is enough to interest me.. Especially the part about making props =O

OMG!!
there's this new channel on TV called "Okto" or something... but what's suprising is that, my fren just gave me a call.. and told me to turn it on.. after fumbling with the remote control for a while, guess what i saw..

LIKE WHOA?!?! that's the anime i'm following right now!! how the heck did they get it?! and what the.. its quite up to date too!! just one episode behind me =XX
thursdays 2330-2359... i must rmb this time slot.. =O
on a side note, this week must be the most tv i've ever watched in the whole year.. 2 hours at the clinic in front of a tv watching Ellen and Oprah =.= Cashmere Mafia on wednesday, I survived a japanese gameshow earlier today.. hmm... i might actually be getting into the habit again =P

I can almost feel it..
In 1month, + 1 hour, and i'd be breathing a different kind of air!! Omgs.. i've been waiting for this moment for so long.... >__<
So, in order not to waste anytime when the moment arrives, i shld make use of the time now to do some planning ahead right? hehe... i wonder what'd be amongst the 1st things i'd do..
I guess one of the things on the list, would involve hair.. my days as a teenager is fast approaching an end, and i kinda wanna try doing something to it before its over xD Hehe, as a result of the Cosplay event earlier this year, i've been debating whether to make it Blonde or Titanium White to fit the characters i've been wanting to cosplay! but well, on hindsight now.. cosplay is only for a day or 2.. and those colours with permanent dye would just start to look weird once my black hair starts to grow out again.. so i shld pick something a little more complimentary right? well, been giving it some thought today.. brown is a little too common, red and orange too striking for my liking.. so which colour is the one for me?!?! Haha, like a smack to the face, the answer was glaring fiercely at me in that bus ride.. kinda literally actually, cuz the guy standing beside me had a metalic glint to his hair, and the sun was kinda reflected off it =P makes sense? NO! Makes Dollars!! (i made a funny pun =O and it perfectly describes metals too.. xD ) haha.. so racing through the various potential metalic colours that'd fit black.. i decided a Bronze/Copper-tone would be best! (at least, its a colour i'd like too =P ) its not boring like brown, and it shld strike a select crowd of ppl.. well.. maybe not completely metallic.. an Ashen brown with a copper-tint would go well.. maybe i could add some streaks of silver to it too~!! its called highlighting isn't it? ahhhhh.. just thinking about it makes me go.. **Kakoii~!** (faints)
besides, that guy who's hair i was staring at.. (the hair mind you, not the guy =XX ) he had some "wisdom hair" too xD although the white seems to have absorbed the metallic colouring.. and became little dispersed kind of shiny bits.. the effect was quite pleasing to the eye i must add =O
doh.. i shldn't have asked the barber to cut my hair so short today T_T how do i grow out a reasonable length back to canvas out this masterpiece i've imagined out in my head!! sad-ed.. screw the rules! i'm not cutting my hair any shorter than it is now till i'm outta here! unless, someone can introduce me to some miracle ginseng hair tonic to re-grow hair faster? =D

Well, on the note of change.. a new wardrobe would be nice too.. but that'd require lotsa $$ on hand.. since i'd be officially unemployed soon, that might be a slight problem too.. although my initial drive for finding a job is dashed (Since its kinda obvious now the nihon plans are kinda ruined thnx to my study plans T^T ) there's always seem to be another reason to work it seems.. But since its beginning to look alot like Xmas, this shld be but a minor inconvenience.. deshou?

The lights darkened inside the theater, as a news reporter appeared on the screen like they were filming a television series.... Suddenly, a call arrives, and they're whisked away to the scene where some firemen rescuing an old lady.. The residents of the building gathered at the lobby, worried.. There was someone screaming earlier.. hastily with the police, the firemen kicked open the door to investigate.. Something isn't right.. The old lady is standing there looking fine.. but with blood-stain her clothes.. the rescue team approaches cautiously.. A policemen get's knocked down, and the old lady mercilessly claws and bites him.. What's going on here.. bullets fly.. the policemen needs medical assistance.. but before they can get him out of the building, they find themselves sealed in the building at gunpoint.. What's happening?... why are we..

Fun: **ck, I'm not watching this movie!!
Amber: Isn't that the trailer for the movie we're watching now?
Fun: Oh no~!!..

Happy (belated) Birthday Meows!! =P
For this celebration, since its the day after Halloweens.. we decided to catch a film that's more in character with the "scary" theme xD which was kinda funny, cuz although most of us weren't good with this scary genre =P funny isn't it? considering we had 2 cute witches gracing our occasion, but they were kinda busy spending half of the movie-time shielding their eyes from the movie screen.. apparently out of the 6 of us there, i was the only one who kept my eyes on the screen throughout =O hehe, and as a result of that i had to explain to amber what happened during the parts her eyes were.. "diverted" from the screen? =P after the movie though, she was still buried under her jacket.. and it was then i couldn't resist..
"why not fill her in on all the screaming she missed out on from the action?" i thought to myself, as she peeked her eyes our innocently, while gently lowering jacket..
NOW's the time to strike! (insert scary inconprehensible sound here)
"Ahhhhhh!!"
at that point, a number of things happened at once.. i was vaguely aware the whole theater must have heard her scream.. i knew that i was about to apologise for my mischieveousness.. but i also knew that i was currently being pummelled by a rather aggitated pair of fist belonging to the girl i just scared.. yikes.. girls nowadays... kinda scary huh? =P haha.. but since she was able to smile after the whole ordeal.. i guess the bruises from that were kinda worthwhile for the memories of today we'd remember some years down the road =)
So how was the movie? not bad i must say.. Did some research after the movie, and found out .Rec was a Spanish movie which was released Nov 07.. a whole year ago.. and the trailer we saw before the movie, was for an American remake of that movie that's released Oct 08...
Haha, after the movie though.. after some oaths going around about
"No more scary movies for me!!"
"Its only cuz its the Halloween season that's why k?"
I was thinking, so we'd be watching another scary movie this time next year? xD
okies, back to business.. now was time to think more like.. Mission Impossible.. The plan was to lure Meows to a spot upstairs( in other words, Distract!), while a special ops grp (a.k.a Dotty) would acquire a small cake (a.k.a cupcake) to serve as meow's bdae cake.. well, other than the part where i had to "leave" and "look for dotty" in order to cover up some blunder (Adel, i'm quite sure it's her fault xP ) it turned out generally well i guess.. =P we paced about this korean fair at vivo.. and ended up sitting in a circle at some quiet corner of the sky garden to chat.. with a tub (or is it called a cup? o_O) of Ben & Jerry's 'Strawberry&Cheesecake' Ice Cream to end of the day of events.. Sadly, not many pics taken that day.. since no one brought camera.. Its times like these where i wish i had my good'o camera phone T_T
Ahh wells.. i'm sure everyone went home with some fond memories of today =) haha, maybe a few not so fond ones as well xD but anyways, hope you guys are still able to sleep well tonight? =P
