Hehe.. its been a long time since my msn was so flooded with ppl chatting ;)
I shld quit fasting.. cuz lately, i discovered i've been gaining some.. w..we..weig.... Weather's been really hot lately hasn't it?!?! =X
Haha.. for those who don't get it.. "fast"ing here refers to.. Fast-food xD and in my particular case.. Pizza is the biggest culprit.. why, while i was at camp i chanced by this amazing 1-for-1 pizza delivery, by the name of "Pelican Pizza" (only google for it if you got a weight-gaining wish =X ) one of its outlets is quite close to my house/camp.. so the pizza is always hot when it arrives.. also, there's like a wealth of cheese on it.. and this addictive crisp of the crust, that makes you want to eat more until you are full.. (oh no.. even talking about it is making me hungry.. T_T )
So.. what's the solution? lets say i found the next best thing =D
its quite a simple weight loss plan actually.. whenever you're hungry, lets go Subway instead!! lolz..
so here's my little confession.. i got addicted to subway footlong sandwiches.. its filling enough to skip breakfast (or in dire situations, make up for a skipped lunch in an early dinner xD ), tantalise my taste buds with crisp breads and layers of meat.. and its packed with lotsa veggies i actually dun mind eating, since the sauce is something you don't taste often (at least for me.. being stuck in camp and all =P )
now on hindsight.. i wonder how ever i did save money from not eating.. Eating is like so impt ya? without eating these little treats, i could have just died in camp from food-boredom-gamy xD
I've just finished watching the anime "Welcome to the NHK".. what started out as a desire to find out what other songs were sung by "Round Table" (the same ppl who sang 'Let me be with you' the OP theme from Chobits), became an insatiable curiosity to find out more about this storyline.. eventually i got my hands on the manga.. and the 24 episodes too.. and gosh.. its probably one of the most memorable animes in my opinion..

The story revolves around a character named Satou, who for some reasons isolated himself from all contact with the world, and lives alone in his own apartment as a "Hikikomori", ultimately coming to the bizarre conclusion that this happened due to some sort of conspiracy. One day just when his life seems entirely unchanging, he meets Misaki Nakahara, a mysterious girl who claims to be able to cure Tatsuhiro of his hikikomori ways.
There're quite a number of touching moments in this anime.. a number of depressed/emo moments.. some touching scenes, and a bit of that "obsessiveness" in things i'm starting to grow fond of... I admit, i did cry at a couple of the scenes in this series.. although i admit, this probably isn't an anime to watch if you're looking to relax and enjoy.. it sorta disarmed me.. hit me with things i haven't thought of before.. overall it was a sad story, but one that i was addicted to.. i wanted to know more with each passing episode.. perhaps... because it reflected a part of me in it..
so yea.. my mood was sorta affected the rest of the day cuz of it.. but i don't have any regrets.. Love this anime to bits.. ^^

Hehe.. caught my 1st late night movie ytd.. with a girl who just had her first time being rebellious (well.. sorta.. she's nv been out so late before =P ) haha.. actually we intended to catch a movie arnd 9pm.. but Vivo was left with only the 1st row seats for 881... so in the meantime we wandered arnd the place.. mostly the arcade (air hockey ended with her quiet tired xD ).. then the serene sky-garden.. chatted on all sort of stuff, we started fiddling with my PSP (playing diner dash) =P
Haha.. so about the movie.. it wasn't quite what i expected.. i went in thinking it was a comedy all the way.. in the end, though it had its funny moments, it was more of a touching story.. something which.. well.. i found a little too draggy for my tastes of this genre ("The pursuit of Happyness" did that well).. Perhaps i'd have enjoyed it more if i was more proficient at hokkien..
Oh well.. blew alot of money away that night.. 2 taxi trips, one up one down.. total costing arnd $35.. hehe.. thankfully pay-day is only a couple more days away.. so i guess splurging like this wouldn't harm too much.. ^^
wow.. caught 2 movies this week.. and maybe another one tmr.. lolz..

Haha.. dun have much time.. so here's just a quite update about today..
Met up with MeowMew and dotty today.. sorta an impromtu sorta outing, cuz i realised i got the day off~!! WooHoo!! supposedly Meow had a break from 12 till 4 from lessons at NUS.. but in the end she just skipped the 2nd half of lessons to be with us.. aww.. so sweet right? haha.. i noe i noe.. Thanks Meowmew!! ^^
Caught ratatouille in the afternoon.. Was really a very nice movie.. full of laughs and all the fantasies/antics of a fictional world.. Thoroughly enjoyed it.. in my books, i'd give it an Excellent rating ;) 4.5/5 stars..
after Meow's finally resolved to pon class (actually not really pon, cuz it was a lecture you could catch online as well =P ) we went on to play pool... was really funny, cuz all 3 of us had funny characteristics when it comes to playing.. Dotty for example.. would aim carefully.. and just when she moves her cue stick to hit to cue ball.. the cue stick would suddenly jerk upwards and miss everything entirely =P in meow's case.. it'd seem that her Cue ball has an affinity for pockets.. meaning the white ball keeps going into the hole xD my case was quite interesting too.. i believe my cue stick was imbued with anti-gravity properties.. cuz whenever i hit the cue ball.. it has a tendency to fly (generally accurately i must add) to where i was aiming.. Also.. Not only did each of us have our own characteristics though.. we started mixing and matching each other after a while xP hahaha... Must be some Meowmew family clan syndrome or something.. perhaps our other family members has some unique ones we've never seen before! =P
Ah well.. gotta run now.. kinda sad that this "cinderalla-man" has a curfew of 2330.. no fair!! Cinderalla had till midnight!! T_T
not feeling really well now.. feeling a little down..
Well.. probably the most significant part of this, was that a meeting i arranged with an online friend was cancelled.. Hehe.. it probably doesn't sound like much, but if this was your first time meeting someone online whom you've nv met in real life before.. well, lets just say it took alot of courage on both sides =( and the reason was her fren's bdae.. while this is a perfectly alright excuse, its also open to speculation whether or not its true.. (not that i really bother even if its not.. its better she wanted to meet me.. rather than was obliged to meet me)
Well.. was kinda looking forward to this one.. even started practicing my chi vocab since she commented she's more comfortable with chi than eng.. and since we agreed on the movie 881.. this actually wouldn't have been so bad if she told me earlier too.. instead of just the night before.. cuz i kinda had a long break from fri afternoon till tuesday night from camp.. and this was the only plan i made to go out.. so imagine.. i haven't left my house much during that period.. watching animes and reading comics all this time.. without that movie, i practically resemble a hikikomori (thnx "welcome to the NHK" comic for teaching me this term.. if only i could find the other books somewhere.. its actually quite nice.. check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welcome_to_NHK for more info )
Well.. not really complaining that the time wasn't enjoyable.. cuz i did manage to read finish alot of stuff i hadn't had the time to.. its just that well.. maybe too much of something (even good things) could be bad.. I kinda suspect i'm quite into the romance genre for mangas.. and its kinda depressing.. Why? simple! cuz i dun have a romantic life.. and i probably won't for at least another year or so.. and the best part is.. i could probably relate to most of these male protagonist and their charm.. (some of which you know is fantasy-ish but that's part of fiction =p ) aiya.. i think its just this period of life..
Anyways.. another sad thing now is.. i just got word that PSPs aren't allow in my camp anymore.. NooOoO~!! which evil bugger did this?! without PSPs... i might just die from boredom =X no music.. no games.. no videos or pictures.. gosh.. life just got sadder by a notch..
well.. on other notes, i finally have plans to craft the twin swords Gan Xiang (Kansho) and Mo Xie (Bakuya).. The signature weapons of Archer from Fate/Stay night.. hehe.. will let you know how it goes once i get the materials..
