Gosh i hate rain, if only for one reason...
My socks get really freakin wet, and the rest of the day my feet will be sloshing about in my shoes, feeling
1)uncomfortable
2)cold
3)for some reason painful =X
so it was quite a crappy day.. at least for some parts of it..
but some parts were laughable.. for example when i met Fun at sch.. typically we would take a shuttle service from our house to the mrt.. but today i decided to walk out to the main road to take 854 to sch =D i met him at the sch gate all drenched by rain, relating the story to me of "hey, it was raining.. but i wasn't scared cuz i know gab would have an umbrella.. but when i got on the bus, OH NO! gab isn't here!!" xP wahahaha... guess some ppl are dependent on me.. the strange thing is.. i didn't bring my umbrella today =X Roe even said to me 'i'm starting to like rainy days, esp when i have an umbrella and other ppl don't!'
lol.. roe is evil.. i got my jacket soaked by the rain too cuz of that.. but thats kinda alright cuz it dries fast.. and its about time i washed it again anyway =P
but well.. i guess other than the wet feet incident, today was pretty much a gd day ;)
Gosh, i even passed my Physics!! (and you know how? =D i simply got 24/30 for my MCQ.. and it counts as 48/60 since each question was made worth 2 marks!! and i failed the other 2 papers barely xD )
anyways.. today being teachers' day.. marks the stop of sch for the next 8 days or so.. but i doubt i have time to slack.. crappy grades beckons me to do better now =X
*sigh* dota = bad.. slacking=bad.. studying=salvation..
i have to convince myself that sometime soon..

Auditions...
Lately thats what i've been thinking about =P
Not just the game at www.auditionsea.com ....
But my big 1st round of auditions for the Midautumn karaoke festival tmr!! zOMG!! you know what they told us at the briefing? they said they'd be getting some professionals in the business to be judges for us in the later rounds... and these professionals are something like talent scouts!! who go abt Singapore looking for fresh talents to take part in singing competitions, or to become artists...
Not that i have much hope to make it that far xP but its just the thrill of the ride that spurs me on at the moment =P haha..
anyways.. Yang Lao Shi spoke with me today... Its FINALISED!! i'll be the "english" MC for the actual festival next month, regardless of my performance in the qualifying rounds!! whee~!! this is so cool!! being an MC is a new experience to me, which i've been itching to savour xD
anyways.. some interesting things that happened today..
1. Phyics wasn't so Hard!! whee~!!
2. 1000 Den away from my Auditions Pirate suit!! whee xD
3. My Prophet got a lvl3 dagon!! it was cool!! until the entire enemy team had Aegis =P
4. My Luna got a triple Kill today!! and i cleared the enemy team!! whee~!! GGRM!
5. Haha.. Piggy gave me this pack of M&ms, saying to Jia You for tmr's Audition.. the cutest thing was it had Pirates of the Carribean on it! the 1st movie we watched together ^_^
6. I met Alek online today! hee.. she's as fun loving inside the Audition game as in real life! Lol.. but she rmbs me as the "Meow Guy" ... what the? =O
7. Remixed my song for tmr, Jian Dan Ai!! (actually, i just increased the speed to 120%.. but what the heck.. I remixed it k? xD )
haha.. so yea.. quite an eventful day.. and i'm tired again.. man.. Watching anime at night can take a toll on you, if you have to wake up for a paper early the next morning xP but well.. i guess i'd be watching Gakutsouku and Shaman king on Central tonight, as well as Tsukumi:Moon Phase and Mai Hime on 56 at 1am...

My application for the Midautumn Karaoke Singing Competition in my sch got accepted!! whee~!! Its the 2nd time i'm joining, the first being last yr when i took part in the group category with Alloy, but only made it to the semi-finals =P this yr is gonna be a tougher competition (since there's more participants, and also cuz i'm now taking part in the individual category).. =X
but the gd news is, the teacher in charge Yang Lao Shi (sheep teacher's how i rmb-ed it xP ) suggested that.. if i should fail during the early stages of the competition (touch wood!!) well.. that i could have a place as one of the MCs for the Karaoke night!! gosh.. i'm almost tempted to quit the competition altogether like this =D haha..
but well.. it was only a suggestion.. i have yet to give him my answer =P but i guess i'd be interested =) better give him my reply soon
anyways.. just an update for my AuditionSea character.. i'm now only 6000 credits away from the pirate suit!! whee~!!
and i'm starting to realise how ppl online can make my day =) just a couple of hours ago some players i was playing with wished me all the best for my exam which i had earlier today xP and some days back.. i was thrilled when this girl nicked 'cutewiz' mentioned "Any team with Arti would surely win!!" haha.. for those who don't know, my AuditionSea nick is "Artificer", an artificer being one who creates artifacts =) haha.. somehow this name appealed to me when i think abt the things i wanna do when i grow up.. i wanna be better than an artist!! i wanna make more than just art.. i wanna make artifacts that ppl would deem priceless!! lol..
a far-away dream it would seem.. but i'd like to believe in it..
=) anyways.. gotta get back to studying again... boo.. another dreaded 4 days.. before i can be free from this guilt of studying xP
oh!! and my actual audition for the competition is this friday!! do come and support me if you can k? ;) heehees...

I know i haven't been arnd for a while.. but thats cuz i'm in the midst of my prelims =P
gosh.. getting my act together was harder then it seems.. you know what was the stupidiest thing i done?
i took my Chem paper 3, and i didn't even read through the Thermodynamics notes..
I mean.. thats like a whole topic.. and the worst part is that its only gonna be coming out for this paper... that means i lost marks for chemistry, and i won't be able to do a damn thing about it..
but other than chem.. i guess my other papers were alright =P
in particular.. Maths!! whee~!! i felt a burst of insight during the paper.. and was able to tackle most problems with ease...
maybe too much ease, cuz i realised that i couldn't finish the last question cuz of all the graphs i was able to do xP ah well.. you win some you lose some.. and some other maths students were cursing "me" (aka, their own stupidity too xP ) when i couldn't help but provide the answers to the questions that had them stumped ;) i really wish i can get an A for maths this time around..
well.. whats left of my prelims are the full physics paper, chem paper 1&2, and maths paper 2
still got some revision to do for statistics, which i know i'd have failed the recent stats test on if i came that monday xP hee.. wish me luck!!
heck, you'd need to wish me more than luck, cuz i'm now kinda hooked on this game Cindy (the girl who works at the Yishun LanShop) showed me.. called Audition(sea). Its basically something like DDR, where you have to have to key in a sequence of steps (using your direction keys) and then hit the spacebar key at the right time to toggle a move =P its easy to start, but hard to master.. cuz you'd only be able to chain high combos if you hit it exactly at the right time, and make the word "Perfect!" appear xP
haha.. its damn addictive i swear.. esp since i want that Pirate costume for my male avatar (as well as that cool spiky hair-do... awwww) =(
would someone buy it for me? xD wahhahaha..

haha.. just felt relieved after that somehow.. it was a conversation that i needed to have.. ;) haha.. we simply talked alot of crap abt how our lives are..
not sure it'd help with anything.. but it definitely felt gd =) i wish my life was filled with a little more of this.. hee..

yea.. so my counter-solution to that, is to make myself an EPIC MUSIC cd, that would hopefully inspire me to do work while its supposed to be study time =P i'll let ya know how it goes..
Anyways.. i should stop using the com for at least a while with the prelims so close.. don't think i'd be very successful, but i should preferably try.. if i still wish to harbour hopes of getting into NUS..
*sigh* my fears have also been eating me recently.. i don't mind ppl coming to me with their problems.. but when my own problems start showing.. well.. lets just say i don't feel i'm in any right to give solutions.. =X right now, there's still that lingering fear that i'd be forgotten.. in my mind, everyone's studying hard now to get somewhere.. and i'm just wasting about.. i fear ppl would simply just forget me.. that i'd just fade into an oblivion of loneliness.. i loathe such a world.. its simply creepy.. but it seems to be ever nearer with each moment that i spend alone..
i know.. these shouldn't be fears that affect grown ups.. but i'm just a young child with childish fears at times.. and i doubt i'd ever grow out of this one..
just a msg would be nice.. on my tagboard, msn, hp or whatever.. that would be enough for me to get through each day..

dots, he's ranking no.8 in both single solved records, and average of 10 records... with times arnd 11s for solving (unnatural right?) i tried it a couple of times.. unfortunately, i'm ranked no.61th with a time of 47s xP (and that was tyco i think..)
ah well.. it gd to catch up with old frens.. esp memorable ones like Zheng =P kinda unexpected that his friendster only has like 2 testimonials.. well, i gotta rmb to write him one when i get down to it =)
