I rmb i awoke from a vague dream.. with my mind still hazed by a recollection which fleetingly disappeared.. almost by instinct, i reached out my hand for my handphone to check for new messages during the night.. when i saw the time at the top right hand corner..

CRAP!! i was supposed to meet some otaku-s at clementi MRT at 10!!
For those of you who don't know yet, the closest MRT to my house would be YCK.. which is like the furthest point from Clementi no matter if i travelled to JE or Town-ish to change train..
almost like a herald of my dismal situation.. an sms came from Coco.. saying she'd be 10 minutes late..
10 minutes..... great, now all i gotta tell them is to give me abt 1/2 an hour to get ready to leave.. and another 1 &1/2 hour to get there from my house.. =.=// gosh, what a way to start the day...
anyways.. i reached Coco's hall at abt 2+ after lunch and everything.. not too late apparently, cuz they only just started on episode 2 of KKM.. xD hehe.. well.. was a little shocked when i entered the room though.. cuz by the looks of it, it seemed like a 1-man bunk (in army terms).. and there i was, the only guy (at least until JZ came) among 4 girls.. =X ...zOMG!! i'm surrounded by fangirls!@! somebody saaAVeee me~!!
haha.. it was really a 1st time experience for me.. all this while i've only been watching anime by myself, or at the most with another 1 or 2 more ppl.. a pity though that i didn't bring my glasses as i rushed out of my house, cuz half the time i was squinting at the laptop to see the subtitles =X
so how was the day spent? i made frens with rong's sis June, and another "Moe" scholar (check wikipedia under japanese slang if you wanna know what moe means xD ) by the name of Sandar.. and all manners of animes were played that included insanity like Haruhi Suzumiya, mecha from Gundam 00, sch-life Ouran Host Club, i-have-no-idea-what-classification Kyou Kara Maou, and other random episodes here and there.. while some of us may be typing fan-fiction on a seperate laptop, scrambling/solving a rubik's cube (i did all the solving i think =X ), munching on snacks, or even doing odd pairings with whatever we could find.. The Light and Lawliet plushies were the most obvious and abused ones, who were subjected to ruthless physical examination checks by pervies!!.. others included the black and white mascots of Tsubasa which i still haven't quite rmb-ed the name yet.. and the poor gundam models which were forced into *ahem* R-rated poses by a very twisted individual.. =X NOT ME!! i may had a hand in "catalysing" the process, but honestly.. fangirls nowadays xD

Hahah.. The long awaited MeowMew family gathering has concluded!!
lolz.. at first i was a little skeptical about what was gonna happen.. with it being the rainy season and planning going all.. But anyways it was a good day today.. even if only for the following reasons
1. MeowMew & Mr.Kitty managed to make it for the gathering!
2. We got them both to wear Cat ears cuz they were late!! xD
3. Amberlyn (whom dotty & i was planning on giving this pair of angel wings ^^ ) was wearing this blouse with the word "Angel" on it.. haha.. so qiao xP
4. The dices i got Adelyn came in useful in the end for some decision making purposes =P
5. Just nice everyone got presents (even if it meant i spent the dragon's share on it.. hehe.. =.=" )

Haha.. Had a mini AC guitar gathering today.. partly cuz its a really late meeting that sabbie yulin and i promised we'd do like.. 1+ yrs ago (roughly about the time of ACJC fun O'rama..) haha.. even managed to get Tania along! which is really cool cuz as sabbie would've put it.. "you know its really kewl? cuz i realised we only knew each other for those 3 months.. and yet we're still meeting up.." =) hehe.. Heh.. another fun filled day for me.. seems only me and Yulin were the "experts" at skating.. so most of the time we were helping our student make their way around the rink =) but still.. it was a good chance to catch up with these lovely ppl i met in that short time =D
Anyways.. we had lunch at sumo house at clementi.. then while sabbie had to rush off for a meeting at NUS, Tania me Yulin and her twin sis (yes! i now know another pair of twinies! xD) Yu Su (at least thats how i think its spelt) headed down to Fuji Palace to go Ice Skating =)

hehe.. i realised its a little hard to sleep early on a birthday.. at 12.00 midnight sharp, i was awoken to blinking lights and strong vibrations from my half-working phone on the floor.. strange though, cuz usually i don't notice it.. Guess what? it was an overseas call from Beiqin =P gosh.. and if i had missed that one.. i'm sure my inbox would have been flooded by now cuz of her xD haha.. she actually planned her time over there just to give me a call.. how sweet huh? =) that made me really happy.. even though i was only half-awake during the whole conversation =p (during which.. i was vaguely aware of all the sms-es ppl were sending me at the same time.. i think i got abt 8 of them during the space of 12-12.30? x) )
well.. couldn't sleep that well for some reason.. perhaps my mind was a little too flooded with things i wanted to do for this december.. but still, i managed to enjoy the rest of the day =) left early in the morning to collect the shirts i ordered online, and managed to get the twins out to catch a movie. yayness!! xD Then while in the horrendously long queue to get the tickets, i saw this vaguely familiar face some distance behind.. GOSH!! its that guy from S4 department in my camp!! =X well.. since he did look all lonely catching a movie by himself, i graciously invited him to join the 3 of us to catch a movie together =P
And the movie of the week is, Alvin and the Chipmunks!! haha.. quite a childish show again (i wonder why i keep watching these =X ) but still it was worth a good laugh..
It was a night to rmb.. =P haha.. today marks (pretty much) the end of army for the rest of the year for me, and already i can taste the freedom that comes with it xD hehe.. earlier today while i was leaving camp, SiYing msg-ed me, asking whether she could borrow my rubik's cube for work.. heh.. how could i refuse? met her after her work at about 10+pm.. There i sat (feeling silly-ly like some tv-drama character) at the playground near her place waiting for her to arrive.. Suprisingly she was pretty much on time, though the look on her face totally spelt out that she expected me to be later than her =P Some how during the course of the day the idea of bball came into the picture too.. so at that late point of night, we both made our way to the bball court at selaseh by foot, praying that we could still shoot some hoops before the residents there chased us away xD
If there was any point of my life where i really wished i already knew driving, this would be one of them.. But thankfully, she seemed (somewhat) ok with the long walk to the bbal court.. on the way we chatted about old times, and how our lives are now.. I slowly reminsced the times i had at sch.. though not always perfect, it had its good days..
When we finally got htere, we spent some time at the closed coffee shop with a cube between us, as we waited for the soccer players using the (I stress) BBALL court, for their games. No matter though, cuz if their loud game was somehow tolerated at that late hour, our newbie match probably wouldn't agitate the neighbours =D Well.. i realised i've been having alot of practice relating cube techniques to all manner of people.. perhaps soon i can become a professor at teaching this cube or something lol.. Siying's not too bad a learner.. she got the first layer pretty easily, and what i like is her determination to try solving it by herself 1st =P haha.. sorta reminds me of me when i 1st started.. though i sincerely hope it comes back in one piece unscathed after all that =X
The soccer ppl soon left, and we started playing some bball with my ancient (i think abt 14 yrs old) bball.. soon it progressed into a 1 v 1 match (which i really tried hard to give chance =X ) followed by a modified "ABC" game.. we actually managed to play a bit, before the lights at the court went dark at approx 2330 hours.. taking that as a sign to leave, we headed to the shell station to get a drink..
i wonder if these are the sorta things bf/gfs do on a more common basis
Bought snapples for the both of us.. then caught a taxi back to send her home.. hehe, was kinda funny hearing her argument that the uncle wouldn't take us because the distance was too short.. well, if it really was that short, we wouldn't have bothered hailing the cab now would be? =P anyways.. she offered to pay me back for the taxi when she had the money, which i graciousl y accepted.. cuz if nothing else, it'd give us another chance to meet up =) though i think i already forgotten what the amount was already *wink wink* haha..
so yea.. that's the start to my december holidays.. only a little less than a year till ORD loh~!! ^^

spent the better half of today solving this one.. the main objective of the game is to control this character and go about this dungeon searching/maneuvering/unlocking/finding for all 40 items scattered around the place.. although it makes me feel smart i managed to solve most of it by myself.. it makes me feel stupid at certain parts that it took me so long to figure it out =.=
so.. if you were to ask me if i'd like puzzles for my bdae/Xmas.. hmmm... i'm afraid i got mixed feelings abt them =X=X if they were too hard to solve.. i'm likely to just break them in fustration.. if they were too easy, its likely to sit on my shelf to collect dust in a few days.. =p
haha.. i know its a little late, and some of the following stuff are really just wishful thinking xP but here's a wishlist of things i would just love to see this december period =P

well.. not exactly my face.. just half of it, simply cuz the photographer decided to use a pic where he can make all of us look anti-social, and absorbed in our cubes..
hehe.. but at least my face isn't covered like some of the other guys.. kinda feel bad for them, if they specially came all the way down to vivo for this shoot.. at least my face has some traces of me in it (Don't you just feel that strong aura i'm emitting from the papers? haha xD )
Well.. not the best photo.. but its a decent memory to keep.. after all, how many ppl get their face (profile? =X ) everyday? hehe.. i might just cut it out and go laminate it.. =) all in all, Gabbie is happy with this start to december!! xD

Hehe.. Christmas is arnd the corner.. and there's so many things to do.. cards to write.. prezzies to buy.. gatherings to plan..
But still, its december.. and for that, its another reason to smile =D
i rmb i used to hate being a december kid.. like those days when you were in primary sch, and some kids would always have their bdae cakes in class and everyone would know its their bdae.. makes you sorta feel forgotten in sch that your bdae was always spent away from frens.. they often had their elaborate parties too..
but well.. this dec will be diff.. and i'm thankful for all the ppl who add colour in my life =) it may be a bit of a hectic month.. but i know there'll be many pleasant memories to share amongst us xD
