I'm here to offer a prayer to a platoon mate of mine, who has just met with a road accident.. He's still alive and well.. but the mere thought of it is a scary one.. The closest thing i've ever had to it was a roller-blading accident, which pales completely right beside this.. =/

Haha.. it all started ytd, when i went to catch Eileen's graduation performance.. sorta a formality for me to be there.. But hey, why would i wanna miss my fren's singing performance? and miss the chance of throwing some ridiculously cute soft toy into her arms and have her carry it all the way home from there =D wahahaha... but jokes aside.. she was actually pretty gd on that day!! (although the opening dance with her inside looked kinda awkward xD ) Anyways.. just wanna wish her..

Anyways.. after the entire thing, it was about 11pm.. and i had to report for the 12km run at arnd 6.15am the next day (at City Hall there.. the NDP floating platform).. so naturally that didn't leave much time to get back and rest.. but another problem was, trains only start running at abt 6am.. LEAVING JURONG EAST.. thus, getting to City Hall from my place by train on time.. is quite an impossibility..
so a creative mind would go.. "Why not camp outside tonight?" =D
a bit more of a siao guy would go "since a taxi fare from home would cost a dem lot at that hour.. why not use that money to have fun instead?"
so mixing these 2 equations together.. a siao creative guy would go.. "HEY!! lets find some frens an just play LAN all nite at town.. then walk to the venue"

anyways.. i survived the 12km run.. apparently some other guy didn't (and alot of other ppl were seen lying down half way or fainted after the whole thing) its quite sad news to hear of all this..

What is this you might wonder? well... i wasn't too sure myself.. BCCT (basic close combat) involved punching and kicking the air.. in ICCT however, i found my face on the floor alot =X
Imagine.. tripping and falling on the floor.. ouch right?
Now.. imagine making your own self fall on the floor.. oOoo psychological torture..
Ok.. repeat a couple of times now, with lotsa shouting (once is bad enough.. which person in his right mind wants to do that? i'd gladly swap places ^^)
now, what if i were to say you had to slap with your elbows and your palms impacting the mat at the same time.. not only does your arm hurt after the fall, your head is spinning/hurting afterwards too.. next day wanna report sick for headache..
ah oh! now try that whole deal in a new style, facing backwards.. =X oh.. its still far from over..
Then today, my wrist is kinda aching.. bent at awkward angles i nv knew possible, while being thrown arnd macham like some rice sack.. I'm starting to feel sorry for all rice sacks right now T_T
well.. feeling a little aching here and there.. but thankfully, its only for this week... why can't it pass a little sooner? hehehe =.=

Ok.. alot of updates, but so little time (now doesn't this sound familiar? =P ) so i have a feeling this is gonna be another incoherent post again xD
as you can see from my (my? o_O) previous post.. Kris invaded my blog during a movie marathon at my place when everyone else was sleeping.. Wasn't too bad, except it felt a little wierd when Kris brought 2 of her love-bird frens as well (Heck.. why couldn't it be simply 2 girls? =X ) and emo-dave dropped by as well.. ian too.. cept it happened after 14 missed-calls while i was curiously wondering what happened to him =T Hehe.. zOMG!! din know my lil'sis has like.. a movie theater's history of movies in her collection.. that night alone, we watched titles like "The longest Yard" (dem hilarious), "Shooter" (din quite get it, but enjoyable nonetheless), "HarryPotter&gobletofFire" (the one i missed =P its actually pretty gd), and "Herbie" (ok la.. nothing much to say..). Its almost like a movie week, cuz monday went to catch the sneak of "Secret" with Beibei (really enjoyed this show, since i liked the guy who plays JayChou's dad all the time.. like in "Initial D" ^^), and not only that.. On Wed, just before NDP, we went out as a platoon of frens to catch "Rush Hour 3".. ok, this one had a storyline that went screaming
'we just needed an excuse to make another movie, so here it is.. now come watch it!'
Not saying it wasn't funny.. but well.. it was lacking as compared to the earlier Rush Hours i felt.. =X
And oh!! abt NDP!! its finally over!! whee~!! guess what? i fell sick soon after =X the next day, after tying up some loose ends regarding stores, i got home and was ready for a nap.. Then suddenly the survey guy Dave called, asking to dota at cyberdome.. i mean, how could i refuse man? =P i got deprived from dota for so long... played 8 hrs straight till abt 11pm.. (even met this other army guy who was dota-deprived cuz of ndp xD ) and then found my own way home (cuz i live so bloody far away =X ) it was arnd that time i started feeling the sickness on me..
so a summary of recent events...

Small wonder why i'm still sick =.=
Anyways.. Beibei's alr left for America.. couldn't go see her at the airport as i planned, cuz my mum forbidded me from getting out of bed.. well.. not that i could do much anyway.. though i get the feeling there's still something more she wants to tell me... am i wrong to be this way then? =X
*sigh* yups.. i've changed i guess.. i used to be gd at this type of matters.. or at least, i'd like to think i was..

Originally, i meant to take the transport back to camp so i could settle some outstanding issues which could possibly be life-threatening =X but however, while waiting for the others to finish up and wrap everything up.. i was instructed to go change 1st.. as a result, by the time i came back the bus back to camp alr left without me =.= meaning, i would have to postpone my plans to return to camp to another day.. no choice lor.. plan B, find my own way back...
As i was on my way to the MRT, there was this familiar air about this character walking in front of me.. she was rather short (contrary to her viewpoint xD ), had this unmistakable voice, and walked in a manner similar to someone i knew.. Just to make sure, i pass by her side to glance at her face.. true enough, even behind a new frame of specs.. that cute pink-cheeked girl gave me this queer look.. that soon changed to one of surprise, followed by one of her flabbergasted expressions.. before she burst out with such emotion.. "Wait wait wait.. i know your name.. urm.. GABRIEL!!!!!!!!"
xD Hahaha... OMGs!! it was Steffi!! one of my JC sch mates cum CCA mate, whom i haven't seen since a Kbox outing in nov last yr.. It was such a joy to meet her again after such a long time.. and gosh, to make things more interesting.. She's part of the NDP performance too!! =O as part of SOKA during the fire segment, carrying a chameleon prop.. and to think i hadn't noticed her till now =.= MUST BE HER HEIGHT RIGHT?!?! =D
hehe.. okoks, enough teasing for now.. i was grateful for the company provided by steff and her frens, esp since for some reason i felt the whole day was just a drag.. had lotsa things to do (sew rank cuz i'm newly promoted, finish some writings etc) and NDP was getting in the way =X
Simply put, i was in a bad mood.. well.. then at least, not anymore =P haha.. makes me miss sch and all those crazy ppl i made frens with though.. but more on that matter, at least i know i'd be making new frens in roughly 2 yrs all over again, once i enter the uni ya? ;)
actually.. i can't wait.. alr in my mind i have a list of activities i wanna try out while getting my degree.. and the best (or worst =X ) part is.. Its all outside studies!! =O whoa... just take a look at that "lvl-up skills" column on the left side (actually, now that i think of it, it sounds like a wierd title =X ) and you'd get an idea what i mean =T
Oh well... another 2 yrs.. estimated 730 days.. approx 17520hrs, or 1111200 mins.. alt 66672000 s
