gosh... who knew i have so much to blog after being away for a couple of days =.=
Went out with Jovi (hazelnut) and Yarong (coconut) today =D haha.. although we initially planned to catch pirates today.. some other stuff cropped up, and we ended up exploring Tampines mall instead..
lolz.. i wonder if it's because i'm mostly on time, or that the ppl i know are always late... thank goodness i have a PSP with me now xD although.. i kept dying while playing metal slug on it =X oh well.. Unlimited credits! yay!!
gosh.. those 2 crazy ppl.. before i knew it, we were wandering arnd toys r'us while waiting for jovi's bf to arrive.. kinda retarded.. cuz there were now these bunch of toys we knew we wouldn't be playing with anymore? that is.. until we had to teach our children how to.. haha.. and we were fascinated by this toy that spells letters as you pressed them.. lolz.. and to think the 3 of us were spelling msg-es to each other like that.. some with i rmb are like "m-e-o-w?" "Y-a-y" .. and when Yarong spelt "E-n-o-u-g-h".. jovi was a little confused what word that was.. LOL! i think some of us need to repeat pri sch xD we walked arnd some more after that.. saw these styrofoam sword, and those "Floatable noodle" things some ppl bring swimming.. those kinda interested me at least.. enough to make me wanna buy them =P
And then, while we were looking for a place to eat.. we stumbled upon this cosplay/anime cart known as "Mr.Cosplay" !! those 2 girls practically squealled with delight while ravaging through all the items.. although i kinda felt something was similiar about the wares =S Yarong spent a fortune getting some Death Note and Trinity Blood stuffies.. while Jovi was still contemplating to get that $18 FMA pocket watch..
we then went for lunch, the lasagne at pasta-mania is seriously lacking in size.. =.= it's like.. a decent sized plate, but with one pathetic square of food in the middle of it.. even Spizza or the foodcourt at Marina makes an effort to give a proper meal man.. like your lasagne is anything special =X
then.. we made our way back to that cosplay cart again =P and i found out he was the guy who was working at Cineleisure the last time.. The same guy dave and I bought the Death Note book frm~!! lolz.. i decided to buy 6 keychains of the dolls from Rozen Maiden then.. Barashuisho the 7th doll was missing from their stock though.. how sad =S
but that wasn't the last visit to that cart.. =P we went to the MRT station to pick up JZ, then made our way up to his cart again xD lolz.. i think he kinda rmbs us.. Yarong being the squealing girl.. Jovi being the one beating me =X and i the one who came before =) this time though, i kinda noticed this Rubix cube at the counter, that's almost solved! hahahaz... amazing how certain things just come together just like that? helped him with the last layer, and can see he was quite thankful for that ;) the shopkeeper's a really nice guy.. And i found out his name's Dave, like that chinese dude from PurePwnage.com who simply Pwns at Streetfighter xD .. He was reading Air-Gear too! one of my favourite comics =P and since i spent so much time there, i guess JZ kinda just bought Jovi a little prezzie she's been hesitating to spend money on.. awww... shoOo sweet.. I got Yarong this little "L" note, cuz she only has abt $20 to last her next month, and i didn't wanna see her without it ^^ aren't i an angelic sheepy? hees..
So yea.. i guess i'd be seeing dave with jovi sometime soon.. she and i are both interested in getting some anime necklaces.. gosh, she's even started calling all of us fangirls =X not that i mind.. in fact, i wouldn't mind cosplaying as well =P ahh... nvm that.. NDP's eating too much time for me to even consider going for Cosfest this yr =S
Which reminds me.. wednesday was the last day i had to help out at Clementi Pri for their rehearsals.. although it's kinda tiring, it was a little sad for me to see them go.. hope they do well for the actual day!! class 5/5 squids, Do your best for the actual performance k? =P hehe.. and i just found out there's a pair of twins in my class.. an there's even triplets somewhere in the sch (i saw them with my own eyes! =O ) ahh.. actually, i'm kinda hyped for NDP right now.. its happening on this large floating platform right beside the Esplanade this yr =D quite a novel idea in S'pore's context.. so yea.. i'm proud to help in any way i can.. =)
yea.. it's gonna be an unforgettable 2 more months before NDP get out of my head..

zOMG!! i almost dieded today =X
i was supposed to reach camp by like.. 5am.. so i set my alarm for 4.15.. Marcus was even nice enough to offer me a lift from the cab he'd be taking from his place..
and guess what? i awoke to the sound of my hp's alarm.. at first i found it dem queer.. cuz i vaguely remembered setting my alarm clock earlier than this hp alarm (which was originally intended to wake me up if i decided to sleep in camp instead)
Then as i walked to check my hp.. it suddenly dawned on me.. "didn't i set my hp alarm for 4.40? =X "
Yups.. i overslept, cuz for some reason my alarm clock was off =S
HOLY CRAP!! its not a gd idea to be late for any military stuff ya? cuz it'd mean spending the precious time of your life to make up for it.. i raced out of my house as fast as i could (taking the bare necessities of my wallet, hp & PSP with me) i ran the entire way to the main road as fast as i could.. hoping to catch a taxi along the way =/ that was like.. the 1BX ( one basic exercise) you'd ever need to wake you up.. a panic run =P
The roads were the quietest as i could rmb.. and for a period of time i almost resigned to my fate of coming late.. after all.. it was so quiet, and this bloody silver cab on the other side didn't want to stop for me =X Then, this other yellow taxi came on the other side of the road as well.. i literally jay-walked two roads in record time just to catch his attention =P i guess he sorta sensed my urgency.. for the moment i told him my destination, he really put the pedal to the metal and brought me to my camp for 5.25 .... paid him a little more though, cuz i liked his style, and i couldn't be bothered to wait for the change too xD
That was one part of my day complete.. after helping to pack stores, we were transported from our camp to Clementi Pri Sch.. gosh, the sch is gorgeous.. i loved the idea of the piano being in an open area, as well as a lost and found display case =P if only the students were as gd as i hoped.. Gosh, i really hate children.. or in particular.. boys =X not being sexist or anything, but the male kids are the ones causing the most trouble.. The irritating type you don't wanna handle =.= thankfully, it was only a handful of boys that were like that, and the rest of my group were mostly co-operative.. some helping me take attendance.. reminding me who went where/how things were done during their previous rehearsals.. and one even brought me a cup of water during that long stretch of rehearsal in the hot sun! haha.. so that made me happy for a while ;)
but yea.. looking at them kinda makes me ponder about my primary sch days.. and how i wish i could make some things different.. yea.. its kinda sad i was sent to an all boys sch for those traumatising experiences.. i guess i'm just not made to mix well in a totally male environment.. guess i learnt to adapt.. from there..
So yea.. guess what? i'm now blogging from a LANshop in bugis.. basically cuz i'd probably book into camp later tonight by myself, and won't have time to finish this entry if i went home.. kinda waiting for a girl right now.. cuz she's holding on to my hp right now =P complicated story.. but i guess we'd be going home together.. actually.. i wonder wtf i'm doing here.. i was supposedly called out to accompany someone else.. but that doesn't seem to be the case.. =S personally i'd have rathered catch up on my sleep (since i only got 2 and a 1/2 hours of sleep ytd)... instead of being dragged all the way from my home here to eat dinner =S but then again.. i might have other thoughts on this another day... ahh...
Well.. i guess i shld go see how she is.. she shld be knocking off work soon.. she's still recovering from an illness.. hope she gets better..

Hey heys.. i'm out of camp alr =P
Hehe.. its been an ok week i guess.. preparations for NDP are gonna get more intensive though, and we'd soon be doing our rehearsals at the actual place at marina.. sometime in june..
Some highlights of the week.. i just did my 1st blood donation on wednesday =X was kinda frightening la.. after this chunk of administrative stuff about how we are responsible for the blood we give, i was introduced to this bag larger than my hand =X (and my hand's pretty big mind you =.= ) that was going to be used to hold my blood.. it looked like it could contain as much fluid as my water bottle too.. =S but after coming so far, how could i back out? Lan lan lor..
And i believe the lady who poked me with the really thick needle, probably did it wrongly.. although i was amongst the first to donate.. i wasn't the first to finish =S by quite a bit too.. true enough, this other lady came to inspect.. pulled the needle out a bit, then pushed it in at another angle.. it started flowing better.. all the while.. i was too speechless to say anything..
They even gave us this heart shaped squeezy thingy.. supposedly to let us squeeze to help blood circulation and make the collection an easier task.. it didn't help me much.. cuz everytime i squeezed i was vaguely aware of that needle that was inside my arm.. It didn't help either, that the two ppl donating blood beside me were having a conversation on the wierder blood donation cases.. I heard about this guy who was so "ON" about squeezing the heart thing to circulate his blood, that while he was squeezing it dem fast, he suddenly fainted!! =X another case was 2 frens, one donating and one observing, were curious to see if blood was flowing or not.. the one observing went to lift up the needle, then blood started spurting out... o_O scary huh?
finally, after a long time, my blood bag was full.. and the lady came back to me with these iron pills that were supposed to help me regenerate the blood cells faster, and this cream for the blue-black mark that was bound to appear cuz she poked me wrongly initially.. (i knew something wasn't right =/ )
ahhh.. other than that it was ok la.. just hope all that effort actually helps someone.. would be quite sad if my blood got rejected cuz i'm too fat or something =X (TOUCH WOOD!!)
The refreshments after that made everything worthwhile though =P haha.. makes you wonder what's the real reason why some ppl actually donate blood for ^^
Waaa... today dem shack.. just had an outfield exercise in the morning.. and it was scorching hot =X that measy few km, seemed to take an eternity+++ to complete.. and it didn't help that i got the en cumbersome cables to carry arnd.. i think my back's aching quite a bit now =X
But other than that, and the slight lack of sleep (i was playing arnd with this blog till late last night =P ), i guess i'm alright.. =D

Got my School Graduating Certificate (SGC for short) on fri.. looked pretty cool with the file they put it in.. with all the testimonials (all written by me =X ) and my A'lvl results inside.. i'm a little disappointed though.. cuz even though they're beautiful words (part of it thanks to Hinoki as well =P ), its kinda sad that my teacher didn't put any input into it =S dunno la... but i'm kinda envious at chan and fun, cuz Mr.Sng wrote them a personal testimonial each (which although is shorter than mine.. it has much more meaning to it =X )
Yea.. i'm growing more aware that i'm the type who needs support from others, to do things properly.. yups.. guess i wasn't cut out to be the path-paver/great leader
But that's alright.. Been thinking of quite a bit of stuff lately.. About the future and stuff, and how my decisions now could affect them.. i guess i still need more time to decide what to do about my university applications.. (NTU accepted me for English, NUS accepted me for their Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.. both are still a little foreign to me cuz i've been a Science student since Sec sch =S )
Ate prata with Ian and Roe later that day... was nice catching up with old frens =P though.. i kinda realised i haven't quite recovered then.. ahh.. i'm better now.. reading my old blog posts from the start seemed to help too =D a big thank you to all those who helped create those wonderful memories too!!
And omni-gosh.. i never knew that prata could be so expensive too =X
i ordered this ice-cream prata.. and the price came up to be $6 =/ Fun was making fun of me, saying how i shld have checked the price before ordering... but well not like i really cared xD i wanted to try that thing on the menu and nothing short of an atomic bomb would have stopped me from satisfying my curiosity =P ok.. maybe not a bomb.. but something enough to rob my wallet of all the pretty faces inside.. heehee..
Oh ya.. some ppl noticed the oddity of me being in sch on a fri, when usually NSmen would be in camp training ;) well.. truth is my camp's helping out for NDP, and most of our weekends would be used on that.. so as a compensation, they give us some days off when we don't have rehearsals.. Haha.. still rmb the shocked look on Shing's face when she saw me in sch on fri xD so irresistably cute..
and oh.. my testi's seems quite popular with ppl too.. ever since they found out my GP was an A2 =X alr its been referenced by 3 ppl in the same day.. i wonder if i could make a profit out of this.. kekeke...
Nah.. i'm not so mean.. ahh well.. i'd be booking back into camp soon.. Take care y'all, and rmb to drink lotsa water and eat 3 servings of veggies a day to keep healthy!!

And sorta took the music from the site which PeiHua's blog uses.. omg.. its so cool la! i even used it to put "Pirates of the Carribean" music for my friendster =P hahaha.. i wonder if she even knows.. Hehe... tell ya a little secret.. It was a diary entry about someone i liked.. quite a memorable event if only some magic could have been casted.. but at this point of time on hindsight, i suppose it's just a relationship that wasn't meant to be.. i cried my tears.. and that was it.. the rest i felt was emptiness...
at least for a while.. thanks to all those who helped me recover during this period.. retail therapy.. introducing new frens (sry though, if i didn't seem in the mood then =X hope they don't have a bad impression of me cuz of that =.= ), and gd food..

Was listening to Natasha Bedingfield's new album.. it makes me both happy and depressed at the same time.. Don't get me wrong.. she's a gd singer and i love her style.. but i'm becoming more aware of songs that i like to listen to, but i end up being depressed after hearing them =X

Which reminds me!! i want a portable dvd player!! omg.. i've been so isolated from new technology lately, i didn't notice this wonderous invention!! Its like.. tv on the move, with in-built dvd functions!! almost like a must have for any dull-chalet *ahem* army-camp sort of environment.. and don't ya think its the perfect complement to my new collection of movies? ;) *hint hint* hahaha...
No la.. my b'day's too far away anyway.. but i'm planning to use this new combat "allowance" i'm getting to do some self-upgrading, and well as getting some small luxuries..
What's the best part? i wouldn't consider my training so combat-ish (till you die kind) when i compare it to other combat vocations =P doesn't this rawk?
