I got the Death Note movie part I & II dvd for $30 right outside AMK hub!!! xD
okies.. other than that, Beibei's just got back from her msia visit today, and would be leaving for the US for further studies pretty soon.. i spent quite some time this evening looking for a suitable gift as her farewell prezzie.. (i must admit.. i'm pretty bad at this stuff *sigh* so i hope she at least wouldn't mind it =x)
Its gonna be kinda sad to see a fren like her go.. she's been super supportive of me all this time, even though we only knew each other for like 3 months while i was still at AC.. ahhh.. beibei, if you're reading this, just wanna say a big THANK YOU for all the stuff you've done for me.. i'll miss ya while you're away, so dun forget to holler back whenever ya find the time k? =T

Guess what? i finally gotta meet up with the twinies Adelyn and Amberlyn =P took like forever just to organise this outing.. (the countless sms-es i had to send.. co-ordinating each other's free times to find the right venue and movie timings) but well, in the end it was well worth it =D
Haha.. met up arnd 2pm in the afternoon.. was early as usual.. i reached abt 1.40, and even met Calvin over there! who was waiting for an appointment with a fren (and with that "Oh No.. i've been spotted" look.. haha.. priceless) =) dotty came arnd 2.04 while the twinies were probably a little lost on their way =P
Haha.. who knew Harry Potter was still so popular after 2 weeks in the movies? the 3pm movie at GV was close to sold out (with only the front row seats available =T ) so we dropped by The Cathay instead.. Heys! who knew it was a lucky thing? they where having this Super sunday promotion at that exact location! $38 for 4 tix and 2 popcorn combos with 4 drinks.. thats like, 9.50 each for all your movie needs!! haha.. can go see here for more details

so yea.. we got tix for the movie was at 6.15 .. in the meantime we had like 3hrs to kill.. it was time for a little skit by dotty and me.. ^^
Dotty: Hey twinies!! wanna play.. (pulls daddy's sleeve)

We went to play pool la! =P haha.. not really sure how to describe, but their expressions were super adorable at that time.. if i had a camera, i'd be looking for such times (now that i think abt it.. i'm kinda interested in that PSP camera now.. if only amk-hub had stock )
ok.. i realised how much i suck at pool =X i've only had about 2 hands worth of experience? and the most probable time i'll pocket a ball is when breaking.. haha.. time for some practice right? yea.. i'm considering going out more often for this.. after-all.. its kinda sad being bad at this if say.. your date suggests going for a game ya? =P so yea, thankfully even though i wasn't gd at it, our skill levels weren't too astronomically different xD hehe.. even had the twins interested in monster hunter freedom (THE dragon hunting game for PSP) hees..
Had dinner at Carls Junior.. and were almost late for the movie!! (ok, we missed a bit of the starting.. but that didn't matter too much ya? =x ) guess the movie was alright, though i'm not an avid fan of potter.. what caught my interest half-way however, were the Cathay seats.. apparently the movie i caught a week earlier with dotty had similiar seats.. space for 2 ppl, and an adjustable armrest.. hehe.. kinda sweet if it was for a couple no? ^^
made our way to Cineleisure after the movie.. took some neoprints at the lvl2 store, as well as the lvl9 Koolpics.. Actually, i kinda like the lvl9 one more, even though the machine has less options for design, it makes up by providing extra services such as lamination (for free) and sending a copy of your pictures to your email!! and presently, the lvl9 one is having a promotion! only $5 per shoot.. that's like, 1/2 the price of downstairs.. =O hehe.. shld have checked when the promotion was up till..
Well.. spent the rest of the night chatting about IQ puzzles and lame jokes before going back.. haha.. was really enjoyable really.. can't imagine myself having this much fun in camp..
actually, it's just a random thought, but isn't army killing off the creative juices of our nation? what i mean is that, through regimentation.. aren't we restricting the views of ppl, in a similar fashion of the old rigid communism? sure its only guys, but guys would make up 1/2 our population.. and of course such thinking and individual actions could possibly get you killed in a real war.. but can that reason alone vouch for this sort of.. "Social engineering"? and what consequences we may face after that? alr i find my own personality altered.. becoming less willing to help others if its not in my area of operations..
i guess whatever brotherhood they mentioned in their army ads.. just isn't present here..

Haha.. actually i meant to write here sooner.. i even came up with some super catchy starting paragraph to begin this post!! (which unfortunately like most of my super catchy stuff.. gets lost somewhere in there whenever i really wanna use it.. =.= ) but well.. being the busy person i am especially during these few weeks where NDP is just around the corner, its hard to save the world.. entertain ppl whilst indulging in some personal pleasures (ok.. i meant to say "keep up with hobbies", but this has a suggestive tone to it doesn't it? xD )
Anyways, you can now really tell NDP is heating up.. how? well basically there's these new bunch of guys wearing some ridiculous white helmets with the letters "MP" present during the rehearsals on saturdays now.. and that the roads nearby are cordoned off to divert traffic during the show.. And why, most interesting of all.. is that someone i know got his bag classified as a "Bomb Threat" cuz he left it lying arnd when he went to the toilet.. like.. Whoa?! like that also bomb threat ah? then my rubik's cube must be a detonation charge intended to blow up the whole stadium if you solve it incorrectly (which btw, i think i rmb something abt a rubik's bomb like this, mentioned on Saturday night live show =P sounds pretty kewl )
haha.. but enough abt NDP.. lets talk abt today..

Met dotty towards the evening.. went to catch "Who slept with her".. omgs.. ok, so it does deserve a M18 symbol.. but hey! i'm alr 18 yrs old, so its ok xD (though is this the type of movie you'd bring your dotters to? =X )
Anyways, it was a really comical movie.. and the lead actress 김사랑 / Kim Sa Rang was really adorable/sexy at the right times.. =D

ok, so this update for this post took a while =S hehe.. i think i'm starting to0 have this little fetish for hats right now.. esp the white one the girl had at the start of her dance number.. so sad i can't find a picture of it anywhere =X but well... i'm starting to get ideas for more character designs.. haha.. (btw, that bunny shinigami from Full Moon wo Sagashite wears a hat too!! =O )
Hey heys!! i just realised how much i miss anime stuffies...
Went for Cosfest on sunday, cuz i was sorta dragged by Emily to go there.. and zOMGs!! i was kinda shocked.. It was like, the moment i set foot at Pasir Ris white sands, i was looking at the Seiguku (is that how you spell it? =S ) tennis team in front of me! haha.. dunno much about the prince of tennis, but it was quite an interesting sight to see =P
Over there, met a couple of old faces i haven't seen in a while.. Amos from my old sch bus.. apparently his brother andrew's somewhere overseas.. couldn't talk to him much though.. hmmz.. oh wells, we shld be able to see each other occasionally at the bus stop..
Oh yes! met Nick from my sec sch too.. he seems to be doing well.. considering he's still studying and still able to go for these kinda events.. haha.. Met Wern Jian too.. chatted about alot of old times.. and i found a new anime trading partner!! whoa~!! he just sent me this list online of all the animes he's collected.. quite astonishing.. haha.. i bet hazelnut might just squeel after seeing this xD
But anyways.. back to track.. Its like a Masquerade of some sort.. and one of which i'd certainly love to take part in.. saw many memorable characters of the animes i've seen.. such as Chii/dark Chii from Chobits + a Sumomo.. Death Note chars like Misa and Mello.. The Rozen maiden dolls Shinku, Hina Ichigo, Kanaria, Suisenseiki and Suosenseiki, Barashuisho.. and a seperate Suiginto.. There were Gundam characters as well as Bleach Captains.. Naruto dress-ups as well as other cross-dressers =X as well as some FFX chars.. hehe.. just searching Cosfest 07 on google would show you some of the pictures other visitors took of that day..
which brings me to my next point.. When would be my debut into this scene? =O haha.. who knows? i'm kinda interesting in making a costume for next yr.. something extravagant.. eye-catching.. hehe.. kinda lacked courage to openly talk to the cosplayers this yr.. but i reckon
it'd be a different case once i enter the trade.. ^^
So yups.. its been quite an interesting week for me.. other little memories i'd like to mention, would be the battalion's "will to fight" day, where my group won 1st in this motivational course (basically an obstacle course we had to cross with a group of ppl carrying medicine balls arnd), as well as saturday's little drinking experience with me =X well.. now i know for sure i can't take alcohol well.. but thats BSO for treating us all to a round!! =D
so yups.. that pretty much wraps up my entry for the week.. have lotsa plans for nxt week too.. so dun mind if i can't find the time to update ya? hehe.. cya all~!!
Nothing beats a good uninterrupted night's sleep.. especially after a friggin long week doing NDP stuff.. being bored stiff, worrying about my tasks.. and blasted with repeated playings of songs..

Isn't it interesting how someone up there must have have planned something? i woke up early yesterday, planning to reach City hall earlier so i could get breakfast at Macs.. but before the mrt trip, Nature called.. a little over-empoweringly.. =X I reached the Mrt with just enough time to pack and run from marina square to the NDP grounds.. when i became enlightened about this heavy downpour of cats and dogs.. wtf? it was a choice of getting food, and getting really wet (possibly being late too).. or just getting wet..
well whoever's up there.. you drive a hard bargain... in the end, i opted for not being late and skipped getting macs T_T
something similiar happened in the evening too.. since it was late i was considering cabbing back as well.. who knew the moment i stepped out of the gate, the SBS bus 103 was there alr.. since the other guys were dashing for it.. would seem awkward if i hadn't followed wouldn't it? =X later at the bus-stop outside my house.. i decided to walk home, on the condition that if i saw a cab i'd just flag it and save myself the trouble.. The thing was, up that long stretch of road home.. i saw the green "Taxi" lite moving towards me, and stopping just abt 100m in front of me.. like it was waiting for some heavenly soundtrack to play the arrival of my salvation.. who knew, by the time it reached flagging distance, the green taxi lite turned into a red "hired" lite =.= Walao!! anti-climax la.. in the end walked the rest of the distance home *sniff*
Isn't it nice to imagine, that this might all be the work of a little angel watching over me.. haha.. heaven knows i lack self-control on matters related to my body.. but on that lonely walk home, i was thinking.. shldn't i confide all my other problems to someone who has more control over things than i do? my love-life issues.. my worries about studies and the future.. my being, and whatever complexes i may/may not have.. after all, i'm only human.. i wasn't born perfectly able to face all of life's challenges with ease..
Maybe, all i need is a little more spirituality.. and the acceptance i can't do all things on my own...
Haha.. just a random thought, but i was thinking about names ppl choose for themselves.. For me, my confirmation name was "Immanuel", meaning "God is with us".. paired with Gabriel, it becames "God is mighty, he is on our side".. A powerful name no?
Was thinking of a Japanese name for myself too.. something like.. Kisagari Gyo.. Kisagari meaning "February 如月" their 2nd month of winter.. and Gyo simply being "G(abr)Y(l)O" 3 letters off my usual unique online name =P (actually.. i rmb a character named Gyo from one of the animes i watched.. but can't be sure if it was Gyo or Kyo =S anyways.. forgot the title too =.= )
Well.. guess i'd think a little more before i pick a jap name..

Went vivo with .. ytd.. Was really sweet.. i can imagine a thousand ways how this could become an ideal date place.. The scenery was beautiful.. the area was packed with different shops.. a variety of places to eat.. The most kick-ass GV theater (which i gotta try out sometime for some visually stimulating movie..) and.. a most entralling sky garden..
Caught the "Nancy Drew" movie there.. since transformers were entirely sold out.. it was kinda simple, but i liked it.. there's where i found out this song.. still looking for someone who has it though..
Had dinner at food republic, with a chinese theme as its deco.. omg.. not saying the food was bad or anything.. but the music there was so like.. "Wo yao ni di ai"-ish.. like my grandparents time or something =P haha.. still, it was cute to see her laugh at those cheesy bits we heard every now and then..
Spent sometime at E-zone.. the arcade was quite a disappointment though.. not only were the games kinda outdated/lack of variety.. it soon kicked us out because of closing time too.. the only thing decent there was the air-hockey.. which seemed to be quite old.. the pucks weren't exactly smooth-moving across the table..
but other than that, the evening was spent in gd company..loved the watery environment up there.. as we sat and chatted about anything at all.. sorta like a scene off a drama.. or manga.. kinda dreamy.. with flickering stars winking at us suggestively..
Perhaps this will be where i shoot my 1st scene?
