Hehe.. just did my wisdom teeth extraction today (the left 2)
Was really scared as i sat upon the operation table.. especially when they started poking my gums with needles =X
Thankfully, the drilling off didn't have any pain thanks to the painkillers.. but the tremors in my jaw at that time cuz of the drilling left me petrified to the spot.. but now, my entire left cheek's kinda swollen.. and feeling weird.. drinking soup or water became a chore =X
well.. will evaluate whether this 6 day MC is worth it or not on saturday.. then consider whether to do my right side or not =P

Its been a busy week.. Since rushing to Cosfest the weekend earlier, i hadn't really had much rest since because of camp.. But anyways, at least ytd some gd things happened at the Rifle Range ;) I'm now a Marksman~!! and officially $200 richer (in 2 months time) woohoo~!! xD
Anyways, today after booking out of camp, i suddenly found myself meeting up with Biying in the afternoon.. after frantically searching my pile of notes for A'lvls.. i finally found some GP essays worth reading to pass to her =P
so how did it start out? i was late =X like, quite late cuz someone suddenly said she'd be 30mins earlier than the appointed time, and i planned to arrive just 10mins behind the appointed time.. add that up and you'd get something i don't wanna think abt T_T
We ended up touring PS a little bit, stopping by the Comics connection that just changed it location and looks, Touching the pianos at YAMAHA before someone got us chased out for playing too loudly!! xD We then decided to take a long walk from PS all the way to Suntec, which she claimed to be "Only as far as ACJC is from the mrt".. =.= i wonder.. which mrt was she refering to? i don't think its the bouna vista mrt Normal ppl go to.. =X
Anyways, i finally got my Haruhi "Captain" armband from Otaku house, we wandered arnd a bit, stayed in the arcade for a while.. and sat down near the fountain just prior to dinner to rest our legs/consume-medication/laugh at the weird ppl doing some fight exercises behind the glass window.. In the end, to kill time, i brought out my psp and intro-ed Patapon to her.. yups, she was having troubles despite believing she'd be gd at all music games xD Later, when the time for dinner came.. i found myself $45 poorer from a japanese restaurant, where i decided to pay for the poor student's meal =T meh.. at least the food was really gd.. some place called "Waraku" at Marina square there.. there was a long queue just to get in as well.. and i was teaching her a new method to solve the rubik's cube during that time =P
End of the day, we made our way to macs to sit and chat for a while.. as well as to properly hand-over some notes to her.. it was during this time where this group of guys beside us were talking about some puzzle question.. which somehow i managed to solve on the spot xD let me see if i rmb how it goes..
You're stuck in a room.. and there are 2 doors to that room.. one would leads you to freedom, the other to your doom.. There are 2 ppl standing in front of the doors.. One is an angel who can only speak the truth, while the other is a Devil who can only lie..
So here's the problem.. if you're only able to ask one of them (you don't know if its the angel of the devil you'd be asking) one question.. how do you determine which door is the one that'd would lead you to your freedom?... =P

What is Cosplay?
Cosplay- short for "Costume Play", is basically describing a performing art behavior of self-rigging out as a character with corresponding costume, accessories and/or parameters..
In society, interactions of "cosplay" behaviour form a subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, video games, and less commonly, fantasy movies, Japanese pop music bands, Visual Kei, fantasy music stories, novels, and anything in the real world being unique and dramatic (or their more anthropomorphic form). In some circles "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume, without considering the mind of an actor and the common form of "cosplay" in a major "cosplay" culture.

Omg, i really can't believe i actually did it.. In a span of 2 weeks since i joined sgcafe.com at Shengyi's request, i got all my stuff together and went down in cosplay to downtown east's Cosfest VII event.. =X total i spent on the stuff would be about..
$50 pants
$30 brown Long sleeved shirt
$10 blue T-shirt
$25 Goggles
$20 Spear-creation
(+$35 for wasted material =.=)
$135+.. for something that i intended to be cheap and easy to do =X
Well, i guess i shld be happy that i actually got it done in time.. And as a result of that, i met alot of new & interesting ppl.. As well as a new experience.. Haha, The 1st thing that made my day was when i was running to find Adel on the 1st day, and this girl was shouting "Cid~!! Cid Highwind~!!" at me.. and asking me to pose to take a picture xD haha.. at least i was recognised.. I was half-worried such a simple costume might get overlooked by other ppl..
But that was only the start, soon as we gathered the rest of our Final Fantasy Group, and snatching certain characters from here and there.. It wouldn't be too far-fetched to say, there were cameras on us all the time =P we even started counting down, just to syncronise when to stop staying in a certain pose.. lol..

gosh, now my mind is racing to plan what to do for the next cosplay event.. it might soon turn out to be COSTplay for me xDD
Hehe.. saturday was a day of co-incidences.. i wonder if i used up a lifetime of luck all in one day =P
It started when i left my place.. Was due to meet the twins at Yishun, but i kinda overslept a little bit =X however as luck would have it.. This father offered me a lift out of house.. which is kinda cool, cuz i always thought the residents in my area were a little detached.. If this happens more often, no doubt i'd have to start changing my view xD
After that, dropped by the twin's place for a bit, to pass them a whole chunk of new animes (as well as the pics from sentosa the week before) =P Haha.. and met their little sister Jasmine for the 2nd time.. Gosh, she's so cute.. makes me wish i had a younger sister like her.. and seeing how her sisters are like, she'd only get more adorable when she grows up =) Goodness knows the little details of while i spent the afternoon there, but at the end of it.. i was reluctant to leave their place =( boo.. but all things had to come to an end right? yes fun, i'm coming to meet you..
Not sure why he's suddenly so free to accompany me today, but when i told Fun about my plans to Cosplay, he proposed we go shopping at Far East to get the last few items for my Character.. Turns out he knows someone who works around that area (the mum of a fren from his old sch who plays WoW), who was quite an interesting character! haha.. so unlike the stereo-typical idea of parents i had.. She even brought us around to the more likely shops to find the stuff i need.. in the end, i ended up buying a brown shirt from a shop intro-ed, since leather (or even pleather) would be kinda costly for something that's just worn around the waist.. well, that settles the bigger part of my cosplay.. =)
After that Fun had to leave to meet his classmates, while i had a CWC (creative writing club) meeting to attend.. lol, strange thing is, I wasn't even an official member of that CCA.. i mean, how could i be? being in a different sch and all.. =P but well since their ex-president was my camp-mate, and i did know a few ppl here and there from my stay in AC.. why not just drop by and see how it goes? i mean.. it couldn't do any harm right? right?.... =X
Haha.. but honestly it was the most fun i could have at a restaurant with pretty much total strangers i just met for the 1st time =P singing endless choruses for a girl named "Gloria", some mini kung-foo fight with this random guy Ben, being bombarded by countless lame jokes from a choir-girl Eleanor.. Meeting a girl named silk (interesting name right? =O ) with alot of interest in japanese culter, And even met a "bunny-girl" Estelle, and another rubik's cube player Bi-ying =P
probably the most memorable parts of the night was when some of the guys left, and the rest of us was around mr.Kurohige-san playing truth or dare xD lotsa funny things happened, and kenn + Ben seemed to have the worst of luck.. Kenn esp, since he's baka enough to think "The hole that triggered the last one won't be the same one again", when he didn't reset the position =X
oh well.. maybe someone will find a cure for it someday xD
after dinner, was called back to find Fun and his frens.. they were busy prawning at bishan.. will i intend to give it a try someday.. After a while, we managed to grab chan as well, and the 3 of us bunked over at chan's place playing monster hunter all night again.. gosh, we slept at abt 4+ i think.. half the time worried about making too much noise (most of it came from me, who kept dying =X ) oh wells.. =P
another busy day for me.. gosh, all these activity takes some getting used to.. haha, but its a welcomed change xD whee~!!
