Heys.. here's the update you've all been waiting for abt saturday!! =P
21st June, 2008
Who knew how much preparations went into making this day a success? haha.. after countless days of planning.. mass sms-ing and calling for ideas and such.. it finally happened.. a 2months late Bdae celebration for Dotty!! =X lolz..
The meeting
Well.. Don't really rmb much about this, other than Meows and Dotty being the earliest to arrive (biggest suprise was Meows, cuz she's perpetually late it seems!! but i guess Dotty being with her sorta countered that xD ), followed by me and Fun (whom i dragged along cuz he said he wanted to skip lessons), Robby, and finally the Twinies =)
Was a little awkward i admit, making decisions and choices initially.. Perhaps i was stuck in an introverted mode for too long.. but anyways, after much deciding with the group, we found our way to Vivocity, and ate Chicken rice at one of the restaurants there..
Lunch was ok la.. but wasn't really worth the $ in my opinion.. maybe i'm too used to the big portions of kampong chicken my parents always bring me to.. but that didn't matter, cuz i knew there was something in store for us later on ^^ we then headed to the sky garden area to get our tix into Sentosa.
The Beach
Hehe, it was dem crowded la.. People everywhere etc.. Since all the better places were taken up, we settled ourselves in this tent area which had shade as well as fans =O kinda suprising right? Haha.. well we got chased out later.. but not before a few things happened..
Well, the 1st one wasn't too good.. At that same tent area, Dotty&Meows bumped into someone they knew from YJ, and we were given the information that Patch, a cat from sch.. wasn't with us anymore.. Not exactly the best way to start a celebration was it? Well, the guys were getting to work.. Fun was on the guitar trying to change the atmosphere of the place, while me and rob started digging for "buried treasure", or rather dig a hole big enough to bury someone inside later.. xD
After a while, after dotty and meows finished making their calls to the juniors, they started taking notice of the large hole we were making.. ^^ good, now that we caught your attention.. Let me introduce you to a little friend of mine..
Kurohige-san~!! xD
What is Kurohige you wonder? =O its actually this pirate inside a barrel, and there's slots in the barrel for you to poke sword in.. if you're unfortunate enough to poke the wrong hole, it'd trigger the mechanism to make Kurohige fly out of the barrel.. And well.. GG to you? ;)

So.. why was this thing so impt? Let me try to illustrate.. When the guys and girls are seperated into groups, and the team's survival hangs on the thread linked to whoever chooses the wrong hole.. Its like a dramatic scene waiting to explode~!! Especially since i came up with several forfeits for the losing team in this case xD
Poor Dotty.. on the 5th sword, she became the 1st victim.. The Penalty? having something drawn on her by her group using permanent marker xD it actually turned out quite well cuz i guess girls are born artists.. lol, lucky her? =P
2nd up, was Meows.. who pop-ed Kuro-san out on the 1st sword =X well, bad luck's like that i guess =P She had to lead her group in a session of warm-ups~
Then.. when it seemed like the guys might actually have their turn.. There was Amberlyn.. on the 7th sword i think ;) the penalty, was to do a commercial.. Which i took the liberty of filming down, and you can now all enjoy it on a youtube page near you xD

Well, sadly we didn't have time to use the big hole we just made.. cuz shortly after the commercial was filmed, we all sorta got chased out of the tent area.. =( boo.. so after covering up the hole the best we could, we left to find another location to put our stuff.. =)
The Sea
After that, we had lotsa fun taking pictures, playing monkey in the water with a volleyball.. I realised i was seriously "Dem attractive", for the wrong things.. somehow Garbage finds its way to be quite easily =X anyways now, if you followed those stereo-typical japanese animes, what else is missing from this picture? =P Haha.. don't worry, we do have it.. Meows was nice to have prepared Home-made food for us all with dotty's help~!! ^^ Ranging from Sandwiches to finger foods.. there was Chips and drinks brought by the rest of us too.. =) i'll let the pics do the talking for now..
before we left though, we were lamenting how we hadn't gotten the chance to bury someone yet.. Suprisingly out of the blue Amber willingly volunteered to be buried~!! =O suddenly invigorated with renewed energy.. Me and rob once again got to digging another hole by the beach.. haha.. may i now present to you, our mascot Mermaid Amby~!! *clapclapclaps* ^^ Thanks for being so spontaneous.. lolz..

Ben & Jerry!
the day sped by rather quickly after that.. we showered up, and headed towards our final destination.. Vivo's Ben&Jerry to get ice cream for dear Dotty =) as well as getting her to open her presents.. haha..
Meows had to leave soon the desserts, and we said our gd byes.. the rest of us the spent some time at the sky garden after that.. Its a really romantic place i feel.. with a professional guitarist by our side setting the mood =) we played a bit of card games, while dotty and rob went to find a marker to decorate "wilson", my badly abused volleyball of the day =P .. haha, the bridge game was kinda cute... I think Amber kinda had bad luck, cuz more than one occasion she asked for a reshuffle cuz he only had a queen in her hand xP poor girl.. but then.. her bad luck with queen came and visited me as well too.. =X lolz..
The Home trip
it was about 11+ when we all decided to head home.. Fun, dotty and robby went on the train.. so to even out, i took 857 with the twins which took me near my place =) Haha.. the bus ride was rather eventful too.. Got Adel to try out the cat ears she's been wanting for a while.. And Amby did the same too.. Meows~!!
And they got their revenge on me for "Vandalising" their hands earlier on as well.. T_T sry k? i'll go practice some chibi drawings to do a better job next time? hehe.. what i got was quite cute actually.. it was a turtle with an oversized head such that it can't hide inside its shell.. Not sure if amber intended any special meaning behind it, but a person who can't retreat into its shell.. Means he has to boldly face anything thrown his way and move forward, am i right? ;) haha.. that might be inspiration for a story someday..
We chatted about all sorts of things on that trip.. making me wish this fun-filled day didn't have to end.. There was one part which i can't rmb what we were talking abt.. but their reply was" Nah, gabby's a Gentlemen.. so no need to worry while he's around" =P
Its been a while since i heard someone say that.. If that doesn't make me happy, i wonder if anything ever will.. xD Haha..
That was today recalled as best i can.. Quite a long post isn't it? i'm sure there's more if only my memory wasn't so rusty.. but still, i'm sure there's more good times to come amongst us friends =) Dotty~!! your turn to plan the outing!! lol
and oh, Weilings~!! if you're reading this, we wished you were here!! our family gathering wasn't complete without you =P hahaha

Its a beautiful day!!
If i said this was probably one of the best days of my life, I'm seriously not exagerating =P I did most of the stuff I ever wanted to do on a beach.. with some of the best of company.. heehee..
Those stuff would include.. Playing beach ball in the sea.. having homemade food made by girls.. serenading by the beach.. burying someone in the sand with a mermaid sculpture (thnx for being so spontaneous Amby =P ) some hilarious dares which the girls were willing enough to take on, and drawing on ppl with markers (weird idea? haha.. i guess it is a little.. but thankfully for the artistically inclined ppl arnd =D )
gosh.. recounting all the stuff would probably take another day to re-live it all in words.. and the time is getting a little late too.. hehe.. well, wait for me.. I'll make another post with lotsa pictures taken this day sometime this week..
Either ways, for all the MeowMew family who might be reading this.. just wanna say..

you know those shows where there is reunions between old friends from sch.. If i had a list of all my life-long friends, you guys would definitely be on it =) that's 100% chop-guarantee for sure.. haha.. Hope we'd stay friends forever k? =P

Its time to throw away all that sorrow.. I'm not sure when I started being this way.. but its long enough.. There's a destiny out there waiting for me.. And all i gotta do is follow it instead of resisting it.. And everything else would fall into place in time..
Though trying all paths seems like something i HAD to do anyway =P maybe that has to change too..
Went to sentosa today.. for like, the 1st time in dunno how many years..
Gosh, i completely couldn't recognise the entrance.. i think the last time i been here was back in J1, as part of an orientation class outing.. and since then, its obvious that alot of construction has been going on.. hehe..
Either ways, it was a pretty gd day.. much better than i expected initially.. i realised i haven't touched bball in quite a while, and its gd to get back into the game =P i also had my 1st experience with beach volleyball, and a fire-walking variety of handball.. hehe, regarding volleyball, i think i kinda found a new love.. its lovely if both sides are skilled enough to handle the ball back and forth.. unfortunately, not all of us are born athletes.. but there were a few gd balls every once in a while ;) i'm now reading the rules for the game on wikipedia.. haha, almost wish i had the chance to try this sport alot earlier.. =P
Oh, something interesting about today too.. considering it was an outing who all guys involved, and the beach would be a dull place if left just like that.. I really applaude this fella who not only struck a conversation with a group of random girls, but even managed to ask them to join us in some games! i only rmb a Jolene and SiLing from my team though.. and i think there was a felicia on theirs..
On a fairer day, perhaps i could have done the same? in a more familar environment that is.. =P
They even remembered me as "The handsome guy" cuz when one of them remarked before out game of handball..
"I'm myopic! i might just pass to the wrong person"
i replied "just pass the ball to the more handsome guys lah"..
haha.. so i'm the handsome guy?.. in the memories of nobody.. that really made my day =P
well, there were some unpleasent memories, but lets not rmb that ya? Its alr expected from ppl like that, that i've becomed numb to it..
wells.. right now, i gotta deal with my sunburnt skin.. and i think walking the next few days is gonna be a little difficult too.. lol.. but if this is all i gotta deal with, for the experiences today, it was all well worth it =)
You sir, are very wise!! Not only do you have a stock of wisdom hair upon your head at such a young age.. You now have 2 sets of Wisdom Teeth to match!! =O all at the young age of 19.. hmm.. For those who might we wondering what happened? simply put.. i just went for a dental appointment at Alexandra Hospital (Gosh it's dem far away =P ) well.. despite that, i'm actually kinda happy I made the trip =)
hehe.. the staff there were top-notch in my opinion.. Helpful, courteous.. and giggling half the time at me for some weird reason =X i'm not too sure how i looked that day, but i found myself in a couple of awkward situations too..
like that time inside the X-ray room.. when i had difficulty removing my pouch from my belt in that small area cuz i couldn't maneuver.. or when i bumped my head into the machine on my way out of that room.. =T let me say in my defense, that i'm not nearly so clumsy on normal days k? it just seemed inevitable that day to avoid these happenings.. boo.. and out of the corner of my eye when i was reading while waiting to be called.. there they were giggling at my general location... *sigh* no doubt describing to each other some little details that happened inside.. i involuntarily found myself retreating slightly into my book, and perhaps blushing a little.. they giggled some more.. =(
oh wells.. that wasn't so bad as what happened a little later.. i basically have no idea how i mistook someone saying "Jessica" as my own name =.=
but well, all in gd humour i suppose.. when i left, the receptionist beamed a wide smile as she said
"Please come again!"
no doubt i will, for that 2weeks MC!! xD (over 2 operations)
well.. i may be saying that now, but i'm actually pretty scared how much pain is involved =X that 0.5% chance of losing feeling in your lower jaw.. that's kinda scary too... T_T
