The weekend seemed to have passed by pretty quickly..
It started thursday night.. When there was a cohesion to send off one of our commanders.. Went to tampines safra Sakura for buffet dinner.. though its a little painful on my now dwindling funds, its good food nonetheless.. and i'd go back again if anyone's interested though not anytime soon =D
Well, there's this run that was happening friday morning at someplace i wasn't familiar with.. but thankfully jon opened his doors for me to stay overnight at his place.. thus saving me time for sleep, and effort to find the place xD
after friday's run.. came home quickly to change a new set of clothes.. then rushed off to NUS hostels to meet pok to re-stock my dear November =P gosh.. now she's really full.. but the gd news is.. I now have Nodame Cantabile!! both the anime and drama!! woohoo!! xD gosh pok seems really talented.. though he has weird ideas sometimes (such as balancing his laptop on a colour-pencil set and his textbook to improve ventilation to cool it down).. I was dem shocked to see a piano keyboard inside his room!! waaa... and its right beside his bed.. the place looks even bigger than coco's when we bunked there! haha.. but then that might've been because of overpopulation inside that room =P
anyways.. ate a quiet dinner at Astons over there.. had a craving for pasta recently, those side dishes/appetiser kind.. then proceeded to find my way to the performance venue.. which was like on the opposite end across campus.. i wonder how life would be like, if i end up studying here next year =P thank goodness for their bus services
Met jovi for a brisk moment before the show started.. so sad, all our seats were dispersed abt =T
Anyways, yarong's play was pretty decent.. makes me wish i had the chance to perform again.. all the thrills of being in front of a receptive audience.. oh how much i miss it..
After the play.. my night wasn't over yet.. i made my way to Changi airport to stay there overnight.. Sounds a little crazy huh? hehe.. actually looking back now, i guess it is.. but at that point of time, it seriously seemed like the best idea out of all i had.. after all, i was still kinda sick.. so its unlikely my parents would let me leave so early in the morning just to send a fren off.. 2nd-ly.. Changi and my place are quite distant.. and with them planning to meet at abt 7.30 ... it means i gotta wake up 2 hours in advance.. with yarong's play ending abt 10.30 at Jurong and it taking abt 1hr+ to get home.. it doesn't leave alot of time for sleep too.. so.. xD catch my drift?
Anyways, i wasn't the only one spending the night at the airport.. at the macs where i sat down to have supper before sleep, there were students as well as travellers with luggage sharing the same thoughts as me.. it was a little hard to get to sleep though.. with the air-con near freezing, and the sleeping posture a little awkward.. i sat through 2 episodes of Heroes on my psp before my body decided to hibernate till morning..
amidst all the times i woke up, the last 2 were by frens sms-ing me to check where i was.. quite funny, their expressions.. "Are you there yet?" "yes dear, i was there since 11.30 last night xD " "WHAT?!" haha.. thank you ximin and steff for waking me up though.. it'd have been dreadful if i overslept the timing when i was alr at the venue =P
Eileen sure seems to know alot of ppl.. and all those present were those that could be bothered to wake up to see her off.. there's even a guy who woke up to drive her and her luggage to the airport too.. I wonder if i knew ppl like that arnd..
anyways, after seeing her off.. a group of us went back to the macs i slept at to have breakfast.. can't help but feel a little like an outsider.. cuz 1, they're mostly her classmate, and i'm not from their class.. even though i know most of them there.. its still a little awkward..
anyways, after we parted ways.. i made my way to Calvin's place to dump my new stock of animes on him.. and get some new ones too.. perfect, now i can sit in front of my com at home, and not move an inch for days..
So yups.. that was pretty much my weekend.. probably the most "drama" i've had in a while =)
