*sigh* so much happened in a short while.. and i'm not even sure where to begin.. =S well.. lets start with the happier parts first.. =)
Met Adel on thurs to catch "Stardust".. haha.. was sorta a last minute kinda thing, cuz on weds nite i was quite determined not to spend deepavali stuck to my com/psp/bed.. and go catch a movie i've been dying to watch for a while =P haha.. thanks del for accompanying me!! truly appreciate it ;) rmb our promise k? that we'll find the time to catch all the other fantasy movies coming up (now that i think about it.. there's quite a number of them too =X Beowulf.. Golden Compass.. enchanted too? maybe? =P ) ahh well.. we'll see when the time comes..
Anyways.. about Stardust.. It's a really sweet movie that was adapted from a book.. (warning, some spoilers ahead) The main character is a man name Tristan, who lives in an english town named "Wall".. aptly named because of the wall built beside it, that is a portal to the magical realm of stormhold. One night, while Tristan was trying (again unsucessfully) to win the heart of the (a little stuck-up but) beautiful Victoria.. A star shoots across the sky.. Tristan promises to retrieve the star to prove his love for Victoria, and so she gives him a week to do so or she'd marry another man.. Thus, Tristan sets out cross the wall to bring back the star.. not knowing that other than him, there are witches and princes after the star as well..

oh, then on saturday.. played LAN with dave and alex (the usual), then left to meet miss Taki at amk hub after her work.. haha.. come to think of it, its our first time meeting each other offline.. even though we're known each other since last yr thru auditions.. must have took some lvl of courage on both sides.. but glad we did in the end ;) haha.. not sure why.. but i came up with this crazy idea just before i left my house.. which was to print out her nickname and use it like those ppl at the airport would to find someone they haven't met in a while =P funny how we were arguing over sms who'd be the easiest to spot.. guess who won in the end? xD wahahaha...
Had my 1st experience at Pepperlunch with her.. Then headed to catch "The game plan".. (haha.. she sorta gave me this cute glare when i offered to pay the movie tixs for her.. well.. next time perhaps =P ) anyways.. guess what's the 1st thing i noticed abt the movie? =O The Rock is Balding!! lolz.. overall kinda enjoyed the querky moments of the movie.. although it had a simplistic storyline.. they managed to cram lotsa silly moments into it to show a softer side of dear Dwayne =P hehe.. cheesy moments everywhere.. yea, its like another family movie =)
After that we went to play Ddr at Jubilee.. gosh, Taki didn't even know there's an arcade there!! but then again.. she did have some problems navigating about amk hub too.. =P so guess Jubilee is a little ulu compared to that.. haha.. on the dance machine.. i almost died laughing.. i was half expecting a maniac-lvl player.. or at least trick-mode (from her cute sms that said " I woNt let u beat me. Dancing is a gals' specialty. Its a born gift." =P ) but what i saw at the end of the 1st song was a girl on the brink of collapse.. we both failed anyway, not that i could carry on straightaway anyways.. =P couldn't help but burst out laughing then.. at my own initial image in my head, and the poor girl catching her breath xD well.. she's not too bad la.. maybe with a little less time spent on audi, and a little practice.. who knows? i might have another ddr buddy =D
bought some drinks at 7-11.. then found a quiet place near gd-speed cybercafe to rest.. chatted about all sorts of things.. before we parted ways at the bus interchange (and strangely.. just in time for dave and alex to find me alone =P hehe.. its fate la ya? ) hope she liked the little kitten doll i got her.. she always says it took her some getting used to my "Meow-ing" online.. maybe this habit would rub off on her too! lolz.. anyways.. Thanks Taki for the really cool "Heroes" memorials!! haha.. i bet some guys in camp will soon be jealous of me real soon =D
well.. initially planned to write about something that got me down earlier this week.. but looking at how happy this post has been so far.. i guess i'll just cut it out.. haha.. anyways.. going back to camp tmr.. its gonna be a rough week.. Hope there's phone reception in the wilderness, so dun forget to msg me back if i look to you for entertainment k? xD
