Dots..
today's a kinda wierd day.. i had to go up during assembly to give an announcement regarding the Midautumn karaoke competition..
one wierd thing was.. i wasn't even a chinese cultural society member (the organising body for this event) and 2.. everyone seems to be making a big deal out of it =X
well.. thats partly because i went on stage to sing a few lines of "Wo De Microphone", before i went on to announce that the finals would take place on friday 7pm.. but i've been getting varied responses to how that was =P
YangLaoShi commented he should have made me his CCS spokeperson sooner.. JieMin said it was a superb presentation, catching both the hearts and attention of the audience.. Claire said it was daring but fresh too.. but Derrick, Anand, Samuel, and Sheng Long felt it was a stupid thing to do.. others were just merely puzzled saying "Since when were you part of CCS? =O "
and omg.. Clara Mou from Nj just messaged me.. what the.. even ppl from other JCs know abt this now =X dots man..
funny thing was.. i was on the bus with Fun just now, and he was relating to me how he self-stupified himself while relating himself to me =P it appears Gladys was saying "Hey fun, your fren's now a part of CCS!!" and then he went on to say "don't look down on him k? he's my Warrior for dota"
guess wat great timing he had?
i opened my mouth to sing just then..
apparently, the laughter was directed more at him then i would have assumed with me =D dolt.. he should have known i typically do stupid stuff like this xD wahahaha..
well anyway.. just another eventful day i guess.. another 48 days till A'lvls.. damn i hate these countdowns =X
ok..
i've finished 5 days of intensive "going to sch in the morning and then weathering till 9.30 at a tuition center", and i'm starting to feel a little more confident about my GP, as well as a little more tired from the long hours of work i've been doing xP
Long hours of physics revision.. on crappy topics xD followed by a 1+1/2 hour break at X-zone playing Ddr, or Soulcalibur (and i realised i'm preettty gd at it too xD ) then another 2 hours GP session with teachers from all sort of JCs.. kinda tiring.. but enlightening too ;)
and then again.. this was the drive i was looking for a long time ago.. and considering its only roughly 7 more weeks till the actual A'lvls, its probably a gd thing i managed to find it even...
so seven weeks.. to the most gruelling exam of my lifetime.. and a number of things are still in bad shape.. in particular GP... but at least i think i can handle that better now =P the GP tutor i had for the last 2 days said "if you actually progressed like this for your AQ, i would even give you a 6/8!" .. and previously i've been failing the AQ portion with like 2/8 s? hehe.. -_-"
considering me flunking the O'lvls with grades wayy below my expectations.. i guess Talim aptly puts it better than i ever could..
"I don't want regrets..."
7 weeks.. Gambatte...
wahahaha..
I just came back from this crash course for physics and GP at Caraven tuition center, orchard.. haha.. it was gd i guess.. not so much for physics, but GP was great!! omg.. i wish i knew a GP teacher like this sooner =P i rmb reading this article abt mixing "arts" and "education".. i felt he did precisely just that! it was enjoyable, eccentric, but more importantly Effective (which was one of the arguments against such an approach).. apparently, he was one of the ppl involved in setting standards for A'lvl GP exams too =O which explains his proficiency at what he was doing.. i forget his name.. but if i rmb, i'll write it here soon ;) so yea.. looks like i'd be "Squeezing Blood from rocks" for all my GP essays from now on =P
anyways.. something interesting to note, is the ppl i got to know throughout the course of today.. i almost forgot how its like in a tuition center alr xD 1st there was Linda and (i forget his name, but i swear its her bf from poly!! xP ) at the DDR machine in Douby.. haha.. they were a hilarious pair, asking me to DDR with them again and again, when seriously, MY FEET WERE HURTING BY THE 2nd GAME LOL!! haha.. the bad thing is, my shirt became stinky aft that.. i guess i should start bringing extra shirts just in case i wanna repeat it anytime this particular week =D
Then, there was Stephanie from JJC.. i met her right outside the Caraven's office just before the GP crash course.. we started talking a bit shakily.. then later (supposely one of 'my fren' since she's my girl's fren) SinChoon and Jessica (a girl from MI) suddenly approached me.. we all just sorta opened up.. kinda wished this happened before my physics class earlier =P hee.. and i guess the eccentric GP teacher just triggered off a HIGH streak in me today..
kinda happy..
I think i'll go risk playing a game of Dota now before i sleep..
and the cycle of going to sch, then tuition repeats tmr *sigh*
Gd night all!! =P
