Went back ACJC on monday.. some might say it was because there's something i miss there.. but really, i don't think i belong there much.. some ppl pretty much forgotten me, and gotten on with their lives.. i should too..
as u might have guessed, the physics lecture there was simply an excuse for me to go back.. but i really missed the place.. well.. i did try to listen to the lecture, but nothing much got in -in the end.. haha.. i even fell asleep half-way xP lol!!
but then.. after the lecture..
i met Hazelnut Jovita! and Coconut YaRong!!
haha.. they were so sweet!! they even invited me to their creative writing CCA as a "Guest member" xD hee..
now i realise how much i miss the AC culture.. how you could simply approach a friendly person and create an instant conversation.. joke around loudly, make silly remarks without offending anyone =P its a far cry from life as i know it now..
The old president there even went so far as to say "hey.. whats your name? .... i like you already" =O (that was when we were playing hangman, then the whole solved name of Olando Blooms _lan_hard was on the board... the understore was where i erased the letters.. and now i can't recall xP ) [among other stupid things like when the letter RUM was there, i went.. 'I would like the solve the puzzle' =D lol.. anyone could just read that ya ;) ]
heehee.. after teasing Jovi about her "sheepy" boyfriend, acquiring the nickname "CHESTnut" for myself.. and getting whacked by Yarong on several occasions for saying 'something stupid' according to her *bleah* {haha.. she's jealous of my wit i'm sure ;) } they had their ritual handover ceremony for the CCA =O and i was part of it for a while.. heeheehee..
First, all the members present then gathered in a circle.. we were to close our eyes, as the current president stood in the center, and started calling forth the soul of their late president (the old CWC president, who's probably in NS now.. but they made it seem he fell into some dark abyss or something =P ) and this entity supposedly took possession of the current president.. hmm.. then he started asking questions..
Ghostly President: "As part of the CWC tradition.. i shall now ask.. who likes to be the new president?"
Me: "Oh me me!! pick me!!"
Ghostly President: "The spirits have spoken.. the new president has been decided"
Me: "*gasp*.. me? =O"
Ghostly President *twitch.. twitch* :" u !! as you are not part of ACJC of this moment, i beckon thee to step out of the circle.."
Boo.. ghostly presidents are no fun =( well.. nothing much of note after that, other than the ritual bashing on the head of the new president (to make long story short, *bash* you're it) =D plain and simple.. i wonder why CO didn't have it =P
well basically i really miss this place.. i practically cried on my bus trip back.. (which actually, you could cry cuz it is an impossibly long distance home for me.. was a miracle i was back at 8 even =O )
ah well.. i guess this will be my last visit to AC till my exams are all over.. still, i'll miss thee.. badly..

Its almost 11pm now.. on a sunday, as i'm trying to studying for my chem spa skill A written exam..
with as you can see, with little success considering i'm on the com now -_-"
that was.. until i decided to search for certain points that would make my points for tmr unique and more outstanding from the rest =P
here's where i found out wikipedia is really my best friend for chem!! omg.. its like.. all the answers i ever wanted which is easy to search.. haha.. i guess i got my drive back to start studying..

My brother just got married yesterday!! lolz..
it the morning, i was dragged outta my bed at arnd 9.. to follow my bro to his wife-to-be's house.. well, being my 1st time, i was totally unexperienced about the chinese tradition of.. the Groom having to go through trials and tribulations to get to the Bride.. heehee..
It started out pretty funny.. my bro got this really 'Class' car for the day, to use as his Bridal Car ;) but the thing is, it was sorta like a high tech james bond car somewhat.. perhaps a little too high tech.. =S i was about to leave on one of the other cars to the bride's house, when i saw the wipers on the car sliding side to side... and the ppl in the car were flustered on how to stop it... -_-"
it was almost comical, if we weren't late to reach there that it =P
Some of the formalities in a chinese wedding i noticed.. when we got to the place (where the bride lives), the groom's car has to be opened by one on the bride's side.. and there was this "english guy" (my bro's fren) who was traumatised when he "supposedly" could have ruined the whole wedding, as he was about to step out to open the door for them xP haha.. then again, it was this same english guy who was asking (while on the high-way):
"Hey, who is this Ang Mo Kio guy? he seems pretty popular having so many streets named after him"
ROFL!!.. i guess its gd to visit some other countries more often, so such stuff don't happen to ya xP
another thing is how all the guys were locked outside the gate of the bride's house, until we performed some tasks.. such as this rally race, Q&A abt the bride, and some tuneless singing while the groom had to draw an intimate moment on paper to persuade the bride to come out xD and that was considered mild by their standards!! dots.. i wonder what i'd have to do if i get married like that =X
ah well.. its been a tiring day, entertaining relatives, cracking queer jokes to make ppl laugh, and keep everything organised.. the one moment i did enjoy thoroughly was when i borrowed a guitar from "Lawrence" (a fren of my brother) to go play at a quiet area arnd Fort Canning(did i forget to mention the wedding dinner was there? =P ).. apparently, he was one of the Singapore Idol finalists who made it to the top 30 in the 1st S'pore idol.. what i can say is that is was an excellent guitar.. coupled with the serene night atmosphere of the old trees at fort canning, it was a beautiful moment.. with only one thought in my mind..

anyways, my brother's getting married this weekend. and my bro's wanting me to help out with things.. unfortunately, he suddenly had this idea of putting me as his AVA in charge... =S not that i mind.. but its like, been ages since i was in charge for anything technical? =P
Anyways, I'm learning the lyrics for "Jian Dan Ai" right now.. its really sweet.. and i've been looking for it for so long until, i realised my 2nd bro already has it on the com -_-" *sigh* ah well.. shows how little contact we have at times =P
oh, guess an interesting thing that happened to me today!! i got.. 73 for my maths test!! at first i was like.. hey, which assignment was this? how come i got pass up? xP wahahah.. you can imagine the blur face of my maths rep then.. and gosh, i'm 2nd in class like this?! Whee~!! i miraculously survived maths even while juggling 2 CCAs! i'm so proud of myself ;) of course, that means i'd have to help poor piggy with her maths.. but i'll only be glad to... heehee..
